Because I had a free haircut coupon, I drove out of my way to Twist Salon for the first haircut Ive gotten in over a year and a half. It was such a pleasant visit! Not only was the receptionist very helpful in giving me directions to the salon, but she also went the extra mile to provide me with handwritten directions to where I needed to go after my appointment, and gave me a complimentary cup of cold water while I was waiting. My stylist, Jenna, has a wonderful personality -- very upbeat and likeable --and she did a *FANTASTIC JOB* with my hair. Initially, I was nervous about her cutting off a foot of my hair, but ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE RESULTS!!! The layers are so beautifully cut that it doesnt require a lot of styling in the morning to look great (basically wash and go, with lightly blow-drying and mousse - takes all of 7 minutes), and my friends have given me soooo many compliments today! I would definitely have no reservations in recommending Jenna at Twist Salon to anyone who needs a great professional haircut! She looked at the pictures I showed her, listened to what I wanted, and then gave me a cut that went beyond my expectations. She is an excellent stylist and I am extremely pleased! :-)

ASK FOR SHAUNA!!! Obviously the experience of trying a new Salon is COMPLETELEY dependent on who you get to do your hair. I happened to have Shauna Belli, and Im not only extremely glad I met her, Im lucky I found my next hair Stylist on my first visit there. She is super knowledgeable and highly skilled, very fun, kind and engaging! Shes been doing excellent hair for nearly a decade and shes proved it to me today! Extremley pleased and look forward to sitting in Shaunas chair again next time I go in! :) Thanks Shauna! And if Twist has other stylists like her then its definitely a place you should check out!!!

I had an 11:00 appointment and my stylist was late. I was supposed to get a cut and color but when I saw the hair of the 2 stylists working I changed my mind on the color. I wish I had not let them cut it either. The girl seemed nice but did a terrible job. I ask for the same cut Ive had for years, below the shoulders with lots of layers. She cut it straight across and used a razor to do the layers. She was nice so I didnt even complain but Ill never go back and dont recommend the shop at all.

Went to Twist in Chesapeake and expected a higher end salon because of the prices. I was wrong, it was more like a Super Cuts. Also expected experienced stylists since I was paying a lot more but instead got someone who seemed scared to cut my hair. I asked for a different stylist! I almost walked out. The next stylist was very nice but still very inexperienced. She did an ok job. I will never go there again! Very over priced for what you get.
