I used to stop by here often to grab lunch when I worked in the area. I dont know if the management is new ( I havent visited in a year), or if they were just having a bad day, but my experience was disappointing. I came during dinner with my brother and the woman that took my order seemed annoyed. I didnt mind it too much and just assumed she was tired and at the end of her shift. I was wrong. She left my unfinished bowl to disappear in the back and then returned to chat with another employee. I waited, thinking shed ask eventually if I wanted a sauce over my rice. She didnt. She moved on to the customer behind me. At this point, a long line had formed. I thought-okay, Ill wait. No problem....only to have her return to quickly pour a sauce over my rice that I thought she intended to pour over the other customers. Now on to my brothers order. I thought it couldnt get worse, but it did. My brother had a coupon for a free Outlaw Taco for the new Knockout Taco Qdobas been promoting this month. He asked for it specifically since hed never been in and she responded with a lot of confusion. After explaining that he wanted a Knockout Taco, she asked which one (since theres quite a few) and he again repeated that he wanted the Outlaw Taco. She got frustrated and just asked what kind of meat he wanted and what toppings, even though the Knockout Tacos are advertised as "Made by us for you - no decisions necessary". I mean, the sign was right beside her with everything included. This should have been memorized, you know? Then, leaving the food to sit out as she disappeared again she ordered a girl to finish the taco. The girl, apparently as unaware as her, skipped the BBQ sauce (which is pretty much what makes the Outlaw Taco an Outlaw Taco) and began to toss toppings on it. We had to stop her to ask her to add the sauce. When they finished we were glad to leave. The taco ended up being soggy and cold. My bowl was alright. Not anything close to what it used to be. Will not be returning here anytime soon.

TOO LONG DONT READ AT BOTTOM! Do not go here! We always go to the Qdoba at 5872 Crossroads Circle, but today this was near our errands. They offer no student discount on Tuesday ( Crossroads Circle offers 50% off on Tuesdays if you show student ID) They give so little food, I mean, theyre even stingy with pinto beans! The food is so bland we both thought we were eating a veggie bowl when we have chicken. They were slow making our bowl. Our favorite Qdoba always has a huge line (and now I see why) but they still manage to take care of us faster. Staff is not very friendly. Its hard to find anything good to say about this location. Many people prefer District Taco or Chipotle and I couldnt understand until now. If this was my first experience I wouldnt come back to Qdoba. Ever. Im writing this as my food is getting cold and I dont even care.. TL;DR worst Qdoba ever, nothing good. Go to Baileys Crossroads instead and enjoy 50% off for students!

The instant my boyfriend and I walked in, they said in Spanish, not realizing we understood, that they assumed we had a coupon. And we did :) which is the only reason we came there and ever would in the first place. And for good reason, apparently. The coupon was buy one, get one free on any entree. I finished ordering first and went to the cashier while I waited for my boyfriend to finish. I told them I had a coupon and they immediately said I couldnt use it on my particular entree. I tried to say it was valid for any entree but the employee refused to acknowledge or even ask to verify. When my boyfriend got to the front he showed them and they realized we could use it on any item. By then, my experience was completely ruined. I just felt judged from the moment I entered and until I left I felt very uncomfortable. I hadnt been there in years and I will never go back.

I used to come here all the time when they had better student discounts. Now adays you only get a free drink with the ID card so I dont come as often as I used too. The burritos are very filling as they have so much meat, cheese, beans and vegetables packed into it. I always add the queso, its good. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of seating. The people working behind the counter are very kind and can make good burritos!

One of my favorite place to grab some tex mex, the nachos are a must order each time making it difficult from Chipotle because they dont have them, the tortilla soup in a shell is also unique and you can get different flavors if chicken, beef or pork

One of the best Mexican cuisines on Main St. of Fairfax, serving crispy tacos and burritos and other healthy dishes. Food is not too spicy or under cooked. Also offering good rewards program like discounts or birthday gifts for loyal customers.

Cant beat the queso. Automatically better than Chipotle for that reason, and its cheaper than Chipotle. Good place for a big burrito or chips with queso dip. Watch out for the cups, they might shock you!

This place tops Chipotle. The queso is amazing in the burrito. This location is never crowded, so go in anytime. Friendly staff.

Really nice alternative to Chipotle. Also closer to GMU campus than the Chipotle off of Main Street.

Fast and courteous service, though the burritos pale in comparison to Chipotle.
