Well, Im Korean and it seems that other Koreans can cut my short straight hair the best. I found this place on google and gave it a shot. it reminded me a lot of the Korean barber I used to go to on N. 5th street in Philly back in the 90s. Theres nothing fancy about this mom and pop barbershop, but it doesnt need to be. What I loved the most was that this guy is an old school barber. While he starts the fade with a trimmer, the rest was done with comb and scissors. I havent seen anyone do that in a decade and it seems almost like a lost art now. I went in for a simple hair cut and thats what I received.

I went here sight unseen, and was pleased. Its pretty clearly a mom and pop place, with the TV in the corner tuned to a Korean station with English subtitles. The service was friendly and professional, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the prices ($12 for a basic haircut) were better than Id expected. As for the haircut itself, I went in looking for a simple, straightforward cut, and came out with a simple, straightforward cut, done well, by someone who clearly knew what she was doing and took pride in her work.

Ive been going to this barbershop for 10 years now. I tried other barbershops and hair cutters but kept coming back to Jayil Barbershop. Mr & Mrs Park give me great haircut and I recommended them to all my friends.

Awesome place. Nice older couple I think I was their first mohawk. They werent entirely sure what I was asking for so I pulled up some pictures on my phone showed them what I wanted and they did a great job

I went in and the establishment was clean and open. No waiting, only one other gentleman came in while I got my haircut. A little off the main road but worth it.
