DO NOT GO HERE. THE OWNER IS A SCAM ARTIST AND A CON. HE IS USING FARMERS ONLY TO LURE WOMEN TO HIS RANCH BY SAYING HE IS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO HELP HIM SAVE HIS RANCH AND TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH. ALL HE WANTS IS MONEY. PLUS THE PLACE IS NASTY, HE IS A HOARDER, THE BATHROOMS ARE BLACK WITH SLIME AND MOLD, FLOORS NOT CLEANED IN FOREVER, SMELLS LIKE URINE, HE IS RUDE AND SERIOUSLY BI POLAR WITH A MENTAL DISORDER. I WAS ONE OF THOSE LURED IN. AND TO MEET WITH ANOTHER LADY THAT WAS THERE AT THE SAME TIME AND WAS LURED THERE ALSO THRU THE DATING SITE. AND I WAS NUMBER 4 OR 5. SCARY AS HELL.

Ive been riding at Secret Passage ranch for 2 years now. My family had been searching for a place to ride horses and couldnt find an welcoming Ranch until my sister heard about this place. The owner, Don, teaches riders how to interact safely with the horse and cares about them having the best experience possible. Being in Fort Valley, Virginia, makes riding not only a great experience but also it surrounds riders with beautiful natural landscapes of fields and mountains.

This place has become my escape from my hectic life through working with horses, making gray friendships, and working hard. It is a very friendly environment, great for family outings, day trips with friends, and healing experiences. I highly recommend this place for the love of their animals and the great experience that the workers provide!

DO NOT BOARD YOUR HORSE HERE!!! The owner did not take care of our horse, he put her out to pasture and she was there for a month and dropped 200+ pounds. She was fat and now she is skin and bones. She is now terrified of cross ties and scarred up completely, do not make the mistake of boarding with this stable.

We rented 3 horses for the Civil War Reenactment - "On To RIchmond", and had a great time. I was portraying General John B. Hood and was provided a beautiful white gelding named, Walks A Lot. I will certainly be renting from them again! Thank you to Don and his fantastic staff!
