I danced and taught in the Pittsburgh area for 25 years prior to moving to Chesterfield. I hoped to bring the love of dance to my own children. After attending several other studios when we first moved to Virginia, we chose Spotlight because of the philosophical foundation and the technical training. We have now been a part of the Spotlight family for fours years. I love the kindness shown to our girls from the teachers. We love the positive atmosphere that focuses on teamwork, respect, accountability, and art appreciation. My daughters are better people because of the joy this studio has given them. I look forward to watching my girls grow and learn in such a positive environment.

Hands down THE best Studio around. My son has flourished and amazed me and he could not have reached any of these dreams or goals without the help of every single teacher there. They exhibit what they are, desire to teach the art and technique of dance, make it fun, encourage creativity, teach discipline, respect, confidence, motivation and much more- not just dance. Their passion for what they do for these kids is remarkable. My son is very lucky to be a part of this incredible family. We have been lucky enough to be a part of Spotlight Studio for over 7 years. Both my daughters dance at the studio and have loved every minute of it. The studio does not just teach children how to dance, but more importantly they provide guidance, the importance of believing in yourself, and most of all, loving yourself for who you are. These fundamental concepts have been instrumental in the success of my girls and the ability to have the confidence to dance their heart away. They offer a variety of dance classes from children to adult and events children can participate in to give back to the community.

They not only share the discipline of dance including the proper form and terminology, but they also teach character -- something you cant put a price on. This studio is building self confidence in hundreds of dancers and teaching them the importance of caring for one another and their community. We just had my daughters 7th birthday party here. It was the BEST BIRTHDAY PARTY EVER. Pam did a great job with the girls. They all had such a great time. VERY HIGH ENERGY. As a matter of fact weve moved our daughter dance instruction from the "other studio" to Spotlight and are excited about her growth as a dancer... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
