Three months ago (November 2010) my husband and I moved to Richmond as a new phase in my husbands career was awaiting him. In early November we received a phone call, while still in NC, from our Relocation Specialist - our Realtor, Paul Gee with Joyner Fine Properties. We knew from this first conversation with Paul we would be house hunting with someone very good at what he does and very caring about those he does for. It was as if an adventure was about to unfold for us and the excitement was on, replacing all feelings of uncertainty. We have shared our feelings with Paul of how grateful we are to have had him guiding our path in finding the house we could call home. We want to share with others about to make a move those feelings in hopes you will enjoy your relocation process as much as we have, even when it gets bumpy due to the always unseen, unknown forces in life. The first day we met Paul in person was to look at houses and already it was as if an old friend had shown up for us. Going over all we had discussed from NC via that initial phone call, now Paul would present us with an abundance of information about the housing markets in the different areas of the Richmond area. Painting vivid pictures for us through his vast knowledge of the entire Greater Richmond Area of what living would like be in one area over another as we would look in these areas, with concerns of not being too isolated, too crowed, close to shopping, family and friends he knew we had here, always pointing out the school systems as that was important to us, although ours are grown. From that first day, he thought of the things we forgot to consider or even have a thought to do so. He reminded us when looking at certain houses we would take a liking to - they werent quite what we had in mind, he never once lost sight of what we had said we wanted in a home. Paul ALWAYS remembered a health issue we must deal with, when even we would forget that due to excitement over a house. He would think of our two dogs and never forgot once about the extra room necessary for music. Paul Gee is an amazing person and the finest Realtor weve had the pleasure of ever knowing - I used to be a Realtor. Paul Gee, we are grateful for and to you. Your expertise so wide open. Your always!!! thinking of "Glen and Sharon, what they need". Your being there, wherever there might be. Your remembering what is best for us when we got caught up in the emotional part of things. Quite simply - thank you for sharing who you are with us and making our journey one of pleasure. Thank you for your ability to work the bumps out to a smooth surface, getting us to that place we can call home. You are one fine Realtor, more importantly - one amazing man all the way around! Glen and Sharon D.

My agent at Joyner, Mary Landrum, was the most thorough, honest, communicative and pleasant agent Ive ever worked with. She took the time to get to know my needs and preferences as a buyer and even introduced me to neighborhoods about which I was previously unaware. She followed through at every level, making it easy for me to quickly develop a great deal of trust in, and respect for, her knowledge and skills as an agent. I highly recommend Mary and Joyner Fine Properties.

If I could give Joyner Fine Properties zero stars, I would. We rented through Joyner Fine Properties for 2 years and while we enjoyed the home, the property management is terrible. Our property manager was Beth and she was terrible at communicating, unknowledgeable about the home and dishonest with us. I would gladly share more if anyone in interested. I would not recommend Joyner Fine Properties rentals to anyone.

Our experience with Joyner has been terrible. They are not helpful or knowledgeable. We have had nine maintenance requests in 11 months (six of them were leaks in all different places) and they do not try to fix the problem. The people there are horrible at communicating and do not respond to maintenance requests, emails, or phone calls. We do NOT recommend Joyner at all.

Rental side of business is Terrible! Do not respond to phone calls or messages left at office. Good luck trying to rent from them. They will happily take your application fee with no response back. Then put a for sale sign in the yard of the house you were trying to rent.

Joyner took 2 months to finally repair my ceiling after the work order was put in. My property manager failed to return my call after leaving him a message about why this was taking so long. The repair man that Joyner pays delayed fixing it several times.

I used to live here and this place is horrible to rent from. Tanita is absolutely awful and shows minimal effort to help her tenants and no one at Joyner communicates with tenants. Moving in was the most horrible experience Ive ever had. Stay away!

I rented with them in 2012 and we had plumbing issues where a pipe broke and the plumber came promplty. I also bought a house with them in 2013 and the agent was the best ever.
