If you are a blue-collar worker, its a good place to join up with. But, as an office "temp", Ive found that the office jobs are few and far between. Now they make robo-calls to all the active job seekers, which I object to, since all the jobs are warehouse and/or manufacturing. I was never informed that my number would be on this list, nor was I given the chance to opt-out. Robo-calls waste my cell phone minutes and I believe they violate my privacy, but Im told that for my number to be removed, Id have to be removed from the active job-seekers list. The rare occasions that Im at their office, Im treated like some rookie who doesnt know diddly about how the world works, but I have over 30 years of office and admin experience, quite a few of these being in temporary assignments. I expected to be treated more as an equal, not as a junior, entry-level clerk. AND when you sign up with them? THEY MAKE YOU PAY $20 FOR THE DRUG TEST! They do the test in-house - I have NEVER encountered any other agency that makes the applicant pay for this test. So be aware that youre first paycheck will be short by $20.

This is an amazing team! I currently live our of state but I am moving to the Roanoke area. I called in and spoke with Brooke and we discussed what kind of positions that they offered and what I was really looking for. She answered all of the questions that I had and she was so polite and professional the entire time. I really look forward to interviewing with Elwood Staffing when I make the move.

If i could give 0 stars i would. I did an assignment through this company, while working a guy asked me for pain pills since i just had teeth removed. I report it to both elwood and the supervisor. I get fired and on the no re hire list. Even 2 years later for trying to do the right thing. This place punishes you for doing the right thing. Stay away.

They say that they have jobs available thats only to get you to sign up and waste your time staff is rude they feel like they are better then you I would NEVER EVER go to through this staffing company Id rather work at McDonalds then to go through this company .. Go through Areotek instead
