Three strikes you are out in my humble opinion. I recently ended my relationship with Kelly Services on Starkey Road based on several factors. Strike One: Before I accepted my first assignment, they tried to convince me that I was going to have problems with a co-worker, explaining to me that she was filled with animosity and resentment, jealousy, and negativity. I wasnt easily swayed by the recruiters remarks as I consider myself to be a very positive person and seek the positive qualities out of anyone. I observed this lamentation reflecting the agencys unprofessional behavior. Why would an agency speak negatively about a talent they are representing? I have no idea. At any event, I accepted the assignment because I needed to earn some additional income. While on the assignment, I met the person they spoke to me negatively about, and she was the complete opposite. She is actually one of my good friends now. I was very shocked at the picture that these recruiters painted of her. Strike Two: While working on the assignment, I decided to give them a call to give the recruiters at Kelly a status update. I began to let them know that the assignment was going well and inquired about working an additional shift elsewhere to pick up more hours. While I thought this request was common, I was mistaken. A recruiter from Kelly Services, someone who I never met or contacted, contacted me one morning and stated, "I am calling because I was informed that you were unhappy with your current place of employment, and that you were seeking something else." I was alarmed at this phone call as they made these false assumptions about my feelings. I was not unhappy with where I was assigned and I wasnt clear as to how my initial request was perceived. Strike Three: After working on the assignment for several weeks, I realized that I had not received any payment for services rendered for two weeks. I contacted Kelly Services and the agency did not submit my hours in a timely manner. I thought to myself, "Okay. Maybe they forgot." They didnt notify me via phone or in writing that my check was delayed due to their error. I called the local branch and they passed me on to corporate, as if the problem was not important enough for them to fix on their end. I immediately contacted the corporate office and they gave me the runaround and ended up in the Complaints Department. I left a message and tried to stay calm. I immediately went to my supervisors office and told them that I was ended my relationship with Kelly Services effective immediately. I decided that I had the last straw with this agencys lack of professionalism and conduct. Presently, I have not been remitted payment for my services, still waiting for the check. Three strikes and I am out. I do not plan to ever do business with Kelly Services again, nor will I recommend this agency to any of my colleagues.

I definitely agree with Steve. They are horrible. I was a temp on the same assignment for 26 months. That time period is way past the acceptable time frame to be considered a "TEMP." I went through 3 Kelly managers each increasingly incompetent. A certain insurance agency (A _ _ S _ A T E) gave their employees awesome gift cards for a job well done on a special project, we as Kelly Employees received a plastic Kelly Logo cup with nasty mints inside. That was a slap in the face in my opinion. They also FINALLY gave me an end date and then lied to the Employment Commision which denied my unemployment benefits. My end date was in in December 2009 and I unfortunately havent been able to secure a full time job since. I think it really hurts my chances when perspective employers see I was a temp for so long without being hired by the client. WORKING FOR KELLY SERVICES was a disaster and one of the worst decisions I have ever made!!!!

I went to Kelly staffing agency about 2 years ago to have an employment opportunity at Integrity windows. I went in Tuesday took the test and told the lady Im not sure of the name that I forsure wanted the job at Integrity windows I called back on the Friday to asked the status of my application she goes to say "I didnt know if you wanted the job" an I couldnt have made it any more clear that I wanted the job that following Tuesday. We had an altercation that Led me to resign from their company they have a 1 star rating because that is what they deserve I would NOT recommend this agency they are in no shape or from professional I would never recommend this to anyone go to AREOTEK or ADECCO they will get you a job ASAP Kelly employees think that they are better then their employees An that is not a way to run a business !

Only take a job here if you are really desperate. They dont push companies to convert you to perm. They lie about finding you assignments. Avoid. For those of you wondering, Lex did two reviews, one of a pizza place in Michigan and one of this place. Both were rated 5 starts. And Kelly *IS* still on Starkey Road. I think I smell a fake reviewer. So, avoid Kelly at all costs, unless you like being a perma-temp.
