If you are having an indoor wedding, especially in the winter, look no further! There is nothing else like this and at such a good value in the Hampton Roads area. The venue is best if you rent out the whole thing (upstairs and downstairs). There is a beautiful view as it is right on the water ... it is gorgeous at sunset!!! The service is unbeatable, as well. The coordinators at the venue, Lauren & Meredith are amazing! They are always available and go above and beyond to be accommodating and make your wedding exactly how you want it. For example, I really wanted pink champagne to match my color scheme and they ordered it especially for our wedding! We were always able to visit the venue and check things out during planning. There is a neutral palate which lends itself well to customizing for your wedding. The rental prices, which were lower in the off-season, were very reasonable and included the very nice chairs, all the tables, plates/silverware, and house linens. They do have specialty linens available to rent, which is very convenient. Parking is also not an issue. The food was great, too! All of our guests commented how much they liked everything. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue and its staff were for our winter wedding!!!

Worse experience!!! We attended their Easter brunch for the first time today and it was by far the worse experience! Our reservations were for 12 pm and we werent sat at our table till almost 1 pm! The service was just as bad once we got to our table - our server only showed a couple of times throughout the meal and then rushed us about 30 min after we were sat to pay our bill so they could turn over the table! He literally sttod there and stared at the table till we bave him the card! The food was just as bad - everything was cold or dry and tasted as though it had sat out all day. The online menu posted on their website was deceiving and their "chocolate fountain" was a bowl of luke warm chocolate that had half hardened with a spoon to pour over vanilla wafers out of a box! It was roughly 30 dollars a plate and the food offered wasnt even worth 10! This will certainly be our last time attending their brunch offering and I doubt my company will be using this selection for our annual holiday gathering...it was not worth the time, money, or stomach ache....

I recently attended a wedding at this beautiful venue on the water. I had such a different experience than the previous person that rated this 1 star.....(seriously?!?!?!) The food was very good. The bride and groom chose the filet and crab cake dinner for every guest...and I cant even begin to explain how organized the staff were during the meal service. I saw the manager that was in charge that night and she was so pleasant to talk to. I dont see why the other person said the place needs a stronger food and beverage manager. Like I said, my experience was much different and if I could get married all over again I would definitely consider having my event there.

Our wedding anniversary is nearing. Each year I remember the amazing time we shared with our guests at Lesner Inn. They made several special accommodations for us as we were married on a week night on a holiday. The whole process was a breeze and made the perfect venue from start to finish! I highly recommend Lesner Inn!

Very nice area with the Inn and 2 great seafood restaurants. Lesner Inn is beautiful with a view of a small bay. Interesting history about Pirates and Buried Treasure there. Dont miss it!!!!

Have been part of big group partys here. Sub par. Wish they would get a good chef and strong food and bev mgr in house. Location is great. Service and food... Not so much

Beach Ball 2016

We hosted our 1st and 2nd annual Beach Ball fundraiser at the Lesner Inn and it was amazing! Great venue for social events, fundraisers, and weddings!
