Ive been going here for 15 years, then they sold to RIO. Damaged paint, Less quality, higher price ( I paid for the so called managers special $20.) leaves muddy residue on the front end and back and of both my cars so I have to wash that by hand. They did nothing to clean the bugs that I paid for. When I was wiping off all the soap and dirt I discovered 2 heavy swirl marks that ground and chipped the paint down to metal and a sharp dent in the window pillar. Its one thing to get a bad wash but quite another when it damages your car. This place is very bad for your car and the management is indifferent. For those of you who left a positive review, you must have gotten lucky or didnt check your car. This was such a negative, stressful experience, I will be warning everyone I know to stay away...or else you get what you asked for. Ive since changed to majestic car wash. Same price, beautiful experience, soft wash, vacuum, they clean all nooks and crannys, car was like new. They even touched up and buffed out the damage that RIO caused. Thanks RIO for pushing me to a better place.

So I just left this Rio carwash on Indian River with my car dirty and scratched. The machine breaks when Im in the car wash and they staff had no clue how to fix it..This is after they have wiped down my car with a dirty brush and the soap is dry. I ended up going through the car wash 3 times because they said it was fixed, each time no soap or water comes out and the spinning brushes continue to scratch my car. I understand things happen but when I asked for my money back they said NO!! We cant do that, its against the RIO policy. The supervisor on duty refused to speak with me and had some kid come tell my they were stealing my money and I had no other options. I will be calling their corporate office tomorrow and will be getting my money back. This really could have been resolved if they gave me back my money but they refused too. To make it worse I had to spend another $20 at freedom carwash to get the dried soap off my vehicle that also had bird crap smeared all over from their blue brushes that scratched the crap out of my 35k car.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I purchased the monthly carwashes since I was hurt and couldnt do myself. It was the very first time I took my car through and the carwash left deep scratches and blew the paint of the side of car and it was a brand new car. Never noticed until I got home because its a drive through why would you get out? I then took my other new car to see if it was a fluke. Sure enough it scratched the HELL out of my new cars paint again. I told the workers and they took pictures and said it IS NOT THE FIRST time it happened and I quote them "its bulls&!t" and they have to talk to the owner. Richard is the owner and lives in Richmond area. I get an email back saying sorry you left the carwash and came back so we cant do anything. What a joke! Like I am going to hurt 2 new cars on purpose!? Now with over 4000 dollars of damage to the cars I pay it out of my pocket. DONT go to this place if you value your car at all. What a joke.

Rio has the best rate for unlimited car washes in this area. I did some research before I settled on Rio. Most car washes average about $30 for unlimited basic washes. Im on the Managers Special at Rio. Im paying $20/mo for unlimited washes that would normally be $20 each! Great deal. My car is left with a fantastic shine - it really looks wonderful! The free vacuums are excellent too - they really get the job done. Im only giving four stars because the the front "grill" and front lower portion of my car dont get as clean as I would like. I drive a Sonata - theres nothing unusual about my car that would prevent the front end from being cleaned as well as the rest of the body. The wash just doesnt spend enough time on that portion of the car. I get out and wipe this area down, so its not the end of the world. I still highly recommend Rio - Im always mentioning it to family and friends!

Disappointed - I have 5 company vehicles and Ive been going to this car wash location for many, many years before it was bought out by RIO. In contrast, the prices are much higher, but even thats OK. However, they DO NOT care about getting your car clean. After giving them 3 trys I will never return. This last time I paid for the bug treatment $15. Basically they should spray the front end and use a soapy brush to clean the bugs off. When I pulled out and showed them how awful it looked, they sent me back through and still the bug splats were still there. The windows still covered with soap and the back end of the car was covered with mud residue from the wash. Dont waste your money, Its not a square deal. Their emphasis is shoving as many cars through as possible, not cleaning yours. Ill be heading back to Car spa were they actually get it.

Great free car wash, at the new location on lynnhaven. The vacum hoses should be longer, and they need to keep their parking lot swept up a little better and pressure wash, because their are some dirty customers that are nasty. If the customer pours drinks on the ground and not empty in the trash, rio car wash should come up with a litter fee $15 litter fee. Great carwash overall, friendly helpful staff.

The staff has been nice to me anytime I went in. I have a monthly membership so I pay once a month to wash as often as I want, which ends up being 5-7 times a month. For the price Im satisfied with the service. Its not the greatest wash and the dryers always leave water on the back of my car so I have to dry it by hand or have water spots... But my car stays clean. .
