It takes a lot for me to rate a business five stars. Four stars is what I consider to be way above the cut. The customer service and quality of product at Spectrum Printing is nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL. It is hard to find places that truly know the art of printing anymore, let alone provide high-quality service for low-volume work. The care and attention to detail exhibited by the staff shows in their work. The staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Spectrum Printing has a great selection of paper stock that will fit any need. I received a high-quality reproduction from a scan that was not optimized or color managed. Color set aside, the quality of the resulting print was nothing less than fantastic and quick. Zero banding, zero dithering, zero ink nozzle stippling. The quality of the ink in combination with the paper stock resulted in a print I would not have been able to get elsewhere in Hampton Roads, especially at the affordable price. Most prints of the quality I received would typically be expected from local establishments that only do 500 item minimums at a premium price. This place is my answer to the frustration experienced at Office Max and Kinkos/FedEx which was almost always induced by inferior equipment and untrained staff who did not know the first thing about printing. Kudos to the staff on their demeanor and willing to please the customer, as well as their knowledge of the printing industry. THANK YOU! My search has ended!

Dick is a very unusual guy. He printed some postcards for me that had a phone number that would only ring into our old office. I stopped the mailout and attemped to correct the problem. Once I retrieved the phone number, I asked him start resending the cards some very odd behavior began. First he told me that I authorized him to discard my cards (why would I do that when I got the phone number situation corrected). Then he told me that they mailed the cards ( that was not true because his company policy states that you must pay for postage up front) then I was told that I would have to pay a storage fee but the cards were thrown out. We had another order that we owed him money for. We both agreed that he would be a "good business partner and reprint the cards by Thursday Feb 14, 2013. We went to pick up the cards and paid him in full but he only gave us the second printing. I inquired why we did not get the first group and he replied with personal attacks on my character. He wrote " You are a mean old women without any friends and love in my life and I feel sorry for you. But more importantly I feel sorry for your children. To be void of love is a cruel punishment. May God have mercy on my soul. All I want him to do is reprint my cards, my property and get paid.

Praise within a cautionary tale… My fiancé were having a real tough time getting our wedding invitations printed. We first went to the printing service across the street from Spectrum. They did not provide us a proof and ended up printing our wedding invitations on regular printing paper. Real low quality. We then went to another printing service on Independence, near Shore Drive. They never called us back and were actually rude to my fiance when she tried calling them a couple days later. Frustrated and concerned, we went to Spectrum printing. Bridgette met us as the door and from that moment on, all of our printing troubles went away. She was tentative and energetic and we placed our order that day. Couple days later, I came in to check the proofs and give the go-ahead on the final job. Couple days after that, we had our invitations beautifully printed out on high quality paper - And the price was cheaper than that of the other store that printed our invitations on plain paper!! This is quite the long review, but it needed to be told. Spectrum stopped the stress and heartache and got us back on track to prepare for our big day! We will definitely be using them in the future. Maybe for the thank you cards ;)

Was refered there by friend. They really have a good price. Ordered flyers online, for 250 flyers 11x8.5 for only $114 ($121 after tax). So they sent me an email, confirmation, I also requested so they send me a proof via email (which was my mistake). Everything looked the way I wanted it to be printed. I was aware that its gonna take for them 6-8 bussiness days to print the flyers. I called to double check if they received my confirmed proof. Over the phone I was informed that yes they did, and they gonna send me an email when the flyers will be ready for pick up. It was taking forever, so I called again and was informed that the flyers were ready for pick up last week..Weird, as I never received the email. So, when I came to pick up the flyers, they looked different from the proof..which made me a little upset, but as I said it was my mistake, nex time I will order the hard proof. But I git to meet the owner, he is reaally nice man, he also saw me upset and gave me 2 little note books to make my mood better! :) So, my experience there was not bad, but was not perfect neither.

I came into Spectrum Printing less than two weeks before my husband and I’s wedding in need of printing services for a variety of items! I had planned ahead and had our orders in with a different printing company months before this and when I went in to pick everything up, they hadn’t even started the order! We decided not to continue our business with the company and I found Spectrum. I went in and explained my situation to the staff and they were all EXTREMELY understanding and gracious. They were reassuring, professional, and took the extra effort to make sure everything was perfect for our wedding day! The entire staff made this last minute situation a breeze and really went above and beyond when they didn’t need to. They helped fix formatting issues and cleaned up certain PDF’s so that everything was top notch! We are so grateful for Dick and the rest of the Spectrum crew for all the hard work and dedication to our order! Whenever I need something printed in the future, whatever it may be, I know exactly where I am going to go!!

Horrible!!! The lady was very rude over the phone.. But I still decided to support the business... They charged $15 plus 12 cents for each page!!! (8x11) (essay) Even though the lady told me it would only be $15 for each file they had to open AFTER the first one.. The worker agreed that it was only fair to just pay the 12cent per sheet... They then tell me they have to charge me 30 cents to use my card.. I agreed and then the worker says i have to spend at least 10 dollars to even use my card... So I said let me get change out the car... Next thing I know He balled up my papers he printed and threw them away... Just so freaking rude && despite the horrible customer service I experienced over the phone, I still decided to give them a try... But never again!! I truly hope you never get business.. I literally went to Office Depot and got it all printed out for free.. So thanks!! :)
