I have now gone to Posh Salon twice, and I do not like it. Ill start off by saying that I find everyone friendly and it is a pretty salon, but neither experience left me with a haircut I like...at all. I am not particular and usually cut my own hair, but every so often I get the urge to pay someone to cut my hair more with a more complex style. On both occasions I have brought plenty of pictures of what Id like my hair to look like, and on both occasions the final product is not even slightly similar. I understand different hair types make it difficult to get the exact look of a picture found on the web, but I didnt even get a slight resemblance of what I wanted. More specifically, on my most recent visit I came in ready to lose a lot of length, get looong layers, and have my hair shorter in the back. This was clearly communicated, yet I left with no layers (none), and zero difference in the length from the front to the back. This was similar to my first experience too (different stylists too). I feel the cost would be reasonable, IF my hair had been cut as I asked. Next time I want a haircut I will probably go to some cheap cuts place spend significantly less money and get a similar disappointing result, but at least I wont leave poor. On both visits to Posh I left $50 dollars poorer, unhappy, and went home to cut and make my hair more of what I expected.

I meant to write this yesterday when I left after my appointment. I was scheduled at noon, but I arrived early and my hairstylist was ready to take me which Is a big plus in my book. I had Emily she did a fantastic job on my hair is am very picky about keeping my length she took off just what I wanted to keep my hair healthy. She even blow dried and spent extra time curling my hair. Emilys customer service was outstanding I was very pleased and my fiance loved my hair as well. I even rebooked right after my service to be seen in 3 months which I usually never do. Thank you so much Emily see you every 3 months..

My daughter and I have been going to posh for a year now. We followed the best hair expert over from another salon and was so happy with the change in atmosphere posh offers. The staff is all very nice and the service is great. I dont know about what others have complained about but I have none. "K" does an awsome job on my hair as well as my little girls. Never takes too much off.. she can take a true inch off.. and thats hard to find! If your looking for a "spa" day go to a spa.. if you want a true hair expert go to posh.. if your looking for a cheap cut thats unever and bland go next door to the hair cuttery!

Not sure what the last reviewers issue was but my wife and I found this salon to be very professional, clean and very accomadating as we needed to get an appointment in a hurry, my wife called and they were able to squeeze us both in within that afternoon. After arriving we found the salon to be very inviting, and "posh". We also love the fact that they use Aveda products which is what we use, it made the place seem more like home. Anytime we are in Williamsburg and need to get our hair done we will definitely go back probably go whether we need a haircut or not just for the pampering...

Cannot sing the praises of Posh Salon and owner/stylist Nadia Duncan loud enough!! The facility is beautifully and classically decorated. The entire staff is warm and friendly. Nadia has been my hair stylist for more than 5 years. A military spouse who was able to full-fill her life long dream of owning her own salon, Nadia truly listens to her clients. She has an amazing ability to transform an individuals "idea" of how they want their hair to look into reality. And I love the way my hair looks even weeks after my appointment. ..had appointment, arrived and appointment had been canceled. They told me that they tried to contact me and left 3 messages. I had no messages on my phone. May have a standing order of canceling appointments on the spot for transgender people, because there were no messages sent to me. not cool. Could not accommodate me. Drove clear across town. Bunch of young girls at the desk chit-chatting and on their phones. Does not appear to be a good place for mature adults and if you are LGBT, beware.

TO: Unhappy... were all the stylists abilities horrible?? do you know because they all cut your hair?? please dont take offense to what I am saying, but if one person messed up your hair, i dont think its right to slam everyone. I feel bad for you though, it would suck to have a screwed up hair cut, Im glad you were able to get it fixed. too bad you couldnt just go to another stylist at the salon to get it fixed, I have gotten my hair done there before and thought they did a great job.

Love Posh! Nadia, the new owner, has put such beautiful new touches into both the look and client accessibility of the salon. She has done a wonderful job making Posh a modern, relaxing, and friendly environment. The stylists are friendly, professional, and talented, but most importantly my hair looks fabulous! Jess does an amazing job and the AVEDA products are top notch. If you are looking for a comfortable and beautiful salon and a great stylist to pamper you, look no further!

I was a little nervous because I was bringing photos of hair styles I wanted and in the past this has never gone well. Ameila looked at my 3 photos and declared they are all the same style. Great, we were on the same page! She cut about 5 inches and high-lighted and styled my very curly hair. WOW, what a difference. I feel like a new woman! LOVE IT<3 Highly recommend this salon. Everyone is so nice from the moment I called until the finished product.

Outstanding!! Came into town on vacation with a jacked up haircut that needed to be fixed. Not only was my new haircut incredible, but the staff treated me like a regular even though they knew I was going to be in town for a few days and most likely only able to use them this one time. Well Ill tell you what, if Im ever in the area again (Im sure I will be) Im going to make a point of stopping in and getting cleaned up. Thanks again, guys.

This is a 5-star salon! As you walk in you greeted by name and everyone is warm and friendly. All of the stylists seem to be very talented and current with their haircuts and styles. The owner, as well as the stylists, make it a priority to treat all customers like a good friend. I have never seen an unhappy customer; in fact, everyone always seems to leave the salon exceptionally happy. I would recommend this salon to anyone!

Worst hair experience ever. BEWARE!!!! This salon was not posh by any stretch! While the stylists were all very friendly, their professional abilities were far from acceptable. My haircut was terrible, uneven, and require fixing by a real stylist later that day at another salon. I was so upset and distraught by my experience. Hopefully this review will serve as a warning to anyone looking for a new salon in Williamsburg.
