I feel like I am cheating on my chics in Temple Hills, but I needed my hair done, and I only had $30. I went to Yelp and came to this salon. The salon is very nice and clean. Nothing too fancy, but it doesnt have a grimy feel like some Dominican salons that I have visited. The gentleman at the the desk asked me what I needed and told the young lady who promptly escorted me to the shampoo bowl. Her shampooing skills were on point ;-) She was very gentle with my hair which hasnt been relaxed in a very looooooooooog time. I didnt get a deep conditioner, so my hair was rolled immediately. I sat under the dryer, but oddly enough, the dryer wasnt that hot to me. After my hair was dry, she took out the rollers and started the "blowout". My hair looked great. It was light, bouncy, and gorgeously feathered. Not only was my hair looking fly (I received so many compliments.), but the cost was $26 any day. The other Dominican salon would charge $45 (except Wednesdays which is $15 off any service). Dominican Beauty Salon WILL BE my go-to salon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays!!!!

A tad bit pricey. Paid $50 for a blowout on my natural shoulder length hair when on the norm I pay $35, whatever. Seems like they need more than two stylists. Came in at 2 & left a little after 5, ridiculous! Beautiful, yet dull salon. You can faintly hear music they were playing..Turn it up!! Seemed clean from what I saw. Overall the two ladies that assisted me were VERY friendly, sociable and smelled nice! Nothing worse than having a stink stink working on your hair! LOL

I love this salon. The prices are fair. The people are professional, The place is nice and Very clean. Ive been going here for a few years now and my hair has grown very healthy and ive gotten my hair done by all the stylist . All of them are friendly and very serious about taking care of your hair naturally!!! I give them more than 5 stars i gave them 1000

I was there on 4/27/2016. It was the worst!! My hair was long when I went in and chopped up when I left. I asked for a trim and a few long layers and got a chopped up mess! I definitely cannot wear my hair straight without the world see seeing the unevenness and chopped up mess she did. I was told never let a Dominican cut your hair. I should have listened.

I wasnt sure they were going to do my hair right seeing as though I cut the back of my hair and it just started growing so it was really short. I explained to them the situation with my hair and the suggested a few things which I agreed. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE. My hair was a lot longer then I expected after the blow up. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Loved my blowout it left my hair light & bouncy. However I rated it four stars because of the price, I normally pay no more than $35 for a blowout everywhere else, but here I was charged $50 for my natural hair that is shoulder length. Nice and clean shop though and friendly staff, I was in and out within 20 minutes.

My hair is short a mixture of permed ends and new grow so I am use to paying $35. They did not roll me and sit me under the dryer per my request. I was 100% satisfied. My hair looks and feels great. I am glad I found this place and I will be back in 4 to 6 weeks

There is one...one hairstylist...a wash and set typically takes about an hour from beginning to end I been here all freaking day because the one stylist is slow as molasses never again...and she cant blow to save her own life.

Will be going back. I love how my hair turned out. She only did one pass with the flat iron. Most places I go to, they use too much heat. With her, my hair didnt feel overprocessed. The stylist was also very friendly.

Can I just say wow! They will have your hair LAYED and without the extra damaging heat. Its been 3 weeks and my blowout is still smooth, bouncy and light.
