The only reason I rated Yarkey Roofing a 5 was I could not rate them higher! The Owner, Mike, got right back to me on my quote request, worked the entire project out with me and explained exactly the options so I understood them clearly. We agreed to the material options and the overall cost. His crew showed up on time, was very careful with my property and had the entire roofing job completed in just a few hours. It was very impressive, indeed. The crew was friendly, efficient and they cleaned up every little bit of scrap and then triple checked the yard for any hidden nails. Mike personally walked every square foot of the completed job to ensure it was done to his standards. This was a complete removal and replacement. Everything looks great and there has not been a single issue. Competent, professional and honest. Highly recommended. Oh, did I mention that his was the best price of 3 estimates and they used the highest quality materials. Simply put, Yarkey Roofing is outstanding.

We are very happy with our new roof! Mike returned our inquiry call right away, provided a detailed, fair and realistic estimate of the job and was very helpful in the selection of the right shingle product and color. He and his crew arrived at the specified time on the date selected and wasted no time in the removal and installation process. Our job was relatively large and presented several challenges in its successful completion. Efforts were made to minimize the impact of the amount of debris/old roofing material, and our yard was immaculate at the end of the day (actually cleaner than when they started!) Mike kept us updated on the job status, and his crew was friendly, professional and very hard-working. We would definitely contact Mike for any future needs and highly recommend Yarkey Roofing to anyone wanting not only a great roofing job, but also wanting to work with a trustworthy company. Michael Yarkey is very professional and knows exactly what he is doing in repairing and providing maintenance to the slate roofs that have been on the Hilton houses for the past 90+ years. When hiring someone to work on a Hilton Slate Roof, if you dont hire someone who is an expert at what they are doing, they will do more damage to your roof than repair. Michael knows exactly what needs to be done to maintain these roofs and how to repair leaks and broken slates. I had seen his name around the village on signs and talked with people who had hired him and were very pleased with his work. His prices are very reasonable and you cant find a nicer guy to work with. I promise if you need roof repair or maintenance...contact Yarkey Roofing....you will be glad you did! He will do exactly what you want done at a very reasonable price.

We had to replace our entire roof. After getting several estimates, we decided to go with Yarkey Roofing. Mike came out personally, no sales rep. His estimate was fair and he definitely knows his stuff. He organized a time and day that worked for us and with the weather. They began work at 7 am and the entire job was done well before 4 pm. He and his crew were on time and worked fast and efficiently. Mike spot checked every part of the roof and did the more difficult tasks himself. In addition to having the roof replaced, Mike took down a chimney we no longer needed. His crew neatly stacked any salvaged bricks so we could save them for a future project. The roof looks fantastic. We couldnt be happier. Our neighbor came by while they were working on our house and hired Yarkey Roofing to do theirs too.

Went through a couple roofers who frankly did not return my calls, or promised to come out for an estimate and never did. My wife found Mike Yarkey via an internet search for roofers. sent him an email with our problem and contact info, and over Christmas while he was with his family, he took time to at least email us that he received our information and would contact us after the holidays, which he did and he came out with in a couple days for an estimate, and then not even a week was ready to complete the job. Even took pictures of the progress since I was at work during the repair. Finished job looks top notch and he matched our 17 year old singles perfectly. Would recommend him for any roofing job, and he will be the only one we use for any additional work we ever need on our roof.. A++!

The bottom line - if you dont give Mike Yarkey a call then youre doing yourself a major disservice. Have you ever had a "bad" experience with work done on your home? Well, imagine the exactly opposite experience. This is what we found with Mike Yarkey, from start to finish. Mike is very professional yet with an extremely genuine disposition. He and his crew removed our very old roof, repaired some damage, added news vents, replaced skylights, put a new roof on & left with everything clean in less than 2 days. As someone who professionally deals with large installation projects, I thought the job was very well planned, organized and managed. My wife and I are both pleased and enjoying our new roof. So, now give Mike a call...

There is a reason why Yarkey Roofing is so highly rated...they are simply the best! Clean, professional, efficient, and most important...honest. Before hiring them, I had five (yes FIVE) companies come to my house to give estimates. Save yourself the heartache and wasted time...hire Yarkey Roofing. No hidden costs, no added fees...just an honest man running an honest company that does great work. The team was outside my home on the day of the project around 7am and throughout the day sent me picture updates of the progress. After they left, there was no evidence they were even there...well except for a gorgeous new roof on the house (and shed). Well done.

Mike Yarkey is perhaps one of the nicest businessmen I have ever met. He is very professional but personable and a real pleasure to do business with. Having had two other people try to find and repair a roof leak without success, Mike came and was very hopeful and optimistic that he could pinpoint the problem and fix it. It has been a couple of weeks and a heavy rain later and I am pleased to say I had no leak!. He will come back at no charge if I experience leaking after his repair but hopefully this wont be necessary. I highly recommend Mike Yarkey who was recommended to me by a neighbor who also had an excellent experience with his work.

I chose Yarkey Roofing to replace our roof because Mr. Yarkey took his time with the estimate, reviewed each line of the proposal, used the best quality products, and gave the best price. Mr Yarkey brought proof of his license and insurance when he provided the estimate - no other company even offered to show me their credentials. The service from start to finish was very professional. I am extremely pleased with the new roof; I had five compliments on it the very first day and my neighbors have all asked for the number to Yarkey Roofing - one of the neighbors set-up an appointment for an estimate before my roof was even finished!
