I have been a member of this gym for 4 years now. Let me first say that it was WAY BETTER when it was Miekos Fitness. When Vision Quest took over, it was good for about a year, after that they really let the place go. The thing that disgusted me the most was the MOLD growing right above the steam room right before you walk in it. The showers are honestly nasty and all of the lockers are broken. You need to bring your own lock, but thats no big deal. I do like the place though, these are just some CONS. I believe they need to clean more, once you finish your workout on the cardio machine/free weights/weight machines go wash your hands in and see all of the black come off your hands in the sink, its disgusting! My two biggest cons is how crowded it was in the afternoon to evening and how there is always "out of order" cardio machines. Okay so the PROS, the staff is quite friendly and the trainers are motivating! I stayed for quite a while because of the trainers enthusiasm around the gym even when they didnt train me, I saw others working hard and because of them I pushed myself too. The price is also pretty sweet as well, its super cheap and you never experience any hidden fees except in December theres a $15 equipment upgrade fee to help the gym, thats fine. MY FINAL WORD: Join this gym, dont go in the afternoons its packed, parking is always full, wash your hands after your workout (even 2-3 times), dont buy their supplements they charge ridiculous prices buy online at a supplement website.

I purchased a membership about 2 years ago. I told the rep I didnt want any monthly payments and that I would pay for the membership for myself and my two sons for one year in advance, in full. Of course I was told that was great. They would even throw in 2-3 extra months as a bonus for paying in advance. Shortly after joining, I was in an accident that took over a year to recover from. When I was finally able to start rehabing and using the gym again, I only had about 2 months left on my contract. SO I got very little use out of this club. Assuming that my membership was expired, I stopped thinking about it. A few months later I started to get notices from a collection agency that my account was past due and subject to collection. After I called the club to find out WTF, I was informed of a special clause in the small print. That clause basically says that until you officially fill out a cancellation form, IN PERSON, IN THE CLUB, (they wouldnt fax me a copy to sign and send back), I would be enrolled until death do us part. So heres the bottom line, if youre like me and dont like monthly payments, go ahead and pay in full, but locate the clause that says you are a member for life until canceled, AND CROSS THAT $HIT OUT. When I was able to use the club, it was typically during mid-day. At that time, using any of the equipment was generally no problem. Evenings can be very busy.

If you want to go here and have a successful workout, you will have to come during the day, as it becomes very crowded past 5pm. The locker rooms get dirty with this as well. Some of the personal trainers appear to know what they are talking about, but some do not, and some of them tend to be oblivious to other people in the gym and appear to think that they can just take over a space or machine whenever they want, even if you are right there, actually using the machine when they do it (happened once). A huge con is when the grunters come to work out. It is ridiculous to have to hear some guy screaming from across the gym as they are doing their shoulder shrugs with 300 pounds. This has only been a problem a couple of times, but its enough to make me want to leave. I wish they had a policy to shut them up. The cheap prices are a pro, and if you are able to make it in in the middle of the day when they are less busy, it is a worthwhile investment.

This was a nice neighborhood gym when it was Miekos. Then Vision Quest came along and ruined it all. They quit cleaning and maintaining the equipment. They also continually have announcements over the PA to buy more services or supplements or that they need an employee at the front desk. The announcements never seem to end.I felt like I was in a relationship with the lady at the front desk. They will also want access to your bank account for billing instead of a credit card.thats all I need is these people with access to my bank account. They are way better gyms out there. Dont waste your time here.

This place is just plain filthy. If I was the district manager for LA FITNESS, I would fire the manager of this place and then I would fire myself for not even checking to see if things were clean. The mens locker room carpets havent been vacuumed or cleaned. The tile area of the mens bathroom is also filthy and shows that it hasnt been washed in weeks or longer. The feet of the equipment are dusty and the floors are filthy. It seems that LA FITNESS has no standards for caring about their customers. However, maybe they are on their way out of business and this is just the first sign.

Five of us middle aged gals decided to join Vision Quest in Bothell and start our own “boot camp”. This gym is relatively inexpensive which suits our budget conscious minds. Everything is clean and orderly. The staff is friendly, helpful, encouraging and not at all pushy. We meet up twice a week mid morning to workout together and find it very motivational. We have taken a couple of classes but generally use the machines when we are together. This is a nice place to go that is budget friendly and well kept.

Been coming to this location for a couple years now. You generally have what you need equipment-wise to get a quality workout, but its a smaller gym and can get stupid crowded during certain days and times. All gyms do, but the real estate here is limited enough to make it worse. There are usually one or two machines out of order on the cardio side of things. And the place isnt the cleanest, especially in the bathrooms. Still a decent place to work out if you can avoid the lines.

This gym is over-crowed during off-peak hours. Many of the weight machines are old and out-dated compared to other Meikos locations. Also they dont have many typical machines that Ive seen in other gyms. This place is dark and dreary with hardly any windows. Its basically a converted typical "corporate" building. Towel service is extra. Parking is brutal as the parking lot is small and congested. After spending a few weeks at this gym Im very disappointed in the quality.

I would like to enjoy this gym without management constantly watching every move possibly taking pics. It creepy. Also the one he just hired on sales or whatever who over looks over the gym strange character. Other than that it nice and mellow gym. I enjoy it no rushing as im older and need to take my time. It would be cool if management enforced people to put away the weights when done.Maybe time for a new person.
