I am shocked by the first review; “scary” is NOT the word that would come to my mind while describing the Discovery Center child care. First of all you don’t write a review based on somebody else words. I am pretty sure Mr. Baxter’s wife and mother were talking about a different day care. The Discovery Center is very charming and welcoming place that offers safe environment, exciting curriculum, delicious and nutrition meals and most of all caring and devoted teachers. If you are looking for a day care this is the place you should consider. Thank you Discovery Center for giving your love and dedication to our children and a peace of mind to parents!

My two daughters and my little brother have attended Discovery Center from a young age through kindergarten. My 2 year old currently attends. I cannot say enough about knowing I am leaving them in a safe environment where they are encouraged to be active, have fun, be creative and express their ideas. My family has grown to know the management over the years and they have proven themselves to take personal pride in the relationships with the parents and children. It feels like I am leaving my children with friends and not a business. I would recommend Discovery Center to anyone I know.

My daughter has been attending this daycare for 10 months. We love it. The caregivers are top-notch (skilled, intelligent, caring, low turnover, etc.), the facilities are bright, clean, comfortable, and full of engaging toys. It is very professionally run - there is a newsletter every month, a weekly schedule for the classrooms, and all the policies are clearly spelled out and fairly applied. I also love that there are regular activities where parents are invited to attend, and monthly field trips for the kids. This is by far the best daycare weve ever seen, and I highly recommend it.

Our daughter has been going there since she was 18 months old and now our son who is just over a year goes there too. Its a great place. Staff is very nice and accommodating, and they love the kids! Price is also reasobable. No major incidents or complaints with either kids in over two years at Discovery Center, so theres not much more one could ask for.

My wife and mother checked this place out in 2009 when we were looking for a place for my son. They described it as "scary". Maybe they were there on a bad day, but this is the only place they saw that day to which they both agreed "absolutely not".
