I was very up-front with my real estate agent before I listed my property, regarding the condition of the property,what my expectations were, and what I needed to accomplish. Of course he was nice at first and told me "Oh, of course we can work with you, we have a lot of experience selling damaged rental property, etc". I really wanted to make sure he knew what he was getting into with this listing: The house was old, renters had damaged it, and a job forced me to move out-of-state. In addition, the house would not appraise out, and I could not afford to take a loss at that time. After the first few offers fell through, he tried to get me to change direction and take a loss on the house in order to sell it, which I repeatedly told him I could not do. Before long, he wasnt returning phone calls, even to the extent that I would get an offer, fill out and fax all the forms, and 3 weeks later Im leaving messages wondering what happened. When he would finally return my calls he would say, "Oh, that offer fell through 2 weeks ago". He made me feel very "second-class citizen" and acted like my listing was a thorn in his side when I wouldnt come down on my price. I understand that my damaged rental home was a very difficult sale, but he should not have taken on my listing and been honest with me up front instead of wasting a year of my time and money. Finally he stopped returning my calls altogether and I got a call from another agent (from another company!) who he passed me off to. Sadly, this agent also stopped returning my calls and dropped me from his listing entirely without even bothering to tell me about it. I think what really bothered me was the lack of honesty and communication...Im a pretty laid back seller, and I hardly called at all except when I got an offer or didnt hear anything for weeks on end. I would understand not returning calls or shoving me to the side if I was a pain, but when I give someone my business, I leave them to it and try to not get in the way. Normally I would not hesitate to list with an agency like Coldwell Banker, but now I am tearing down that old house, and building a new one and you can bet I wont use this company to list it! They lost out BIG TIME, and if they had only treated me with respect and patience, then they would have a nice $ 250,000 house to sell.

We made the Huge mistake of letting Flaskerud Realty List our home in Longview . although the market is weak at this time . Our home was listed for 9 months and it probably will cost us over 50,000 in loss on our home making the mistake of using this Realtor . When the Listing was up this time I did not even get a phone call asking me what i want to do where to leave keys etc , I am reluctant to even list the house again after dealing with this agency . They had talked us into lowering the price for the 3rd time and asked to have 3 more months listing and I dont know if they even showed the house the last 3 months they just tied it up . also they seem to try to make income working for the seller doing cleaning painting and lawn maint far below standards and at a cost 4times the normal rate . for instance they tried to convince us this 6year old home that was freshly painted less than 2 years ago needed to be painted inside home is just over 1800 sq feet and Realtor gave me a quote for 1800.00 thats a dollar a sqr ft or more when i told them there bid was high i asked who quoted the price i was told it was a couple of agents in there office I got my own bids and the best licensed painters in the area all 3 were under 600.00 seems like they try to make more money by ripping off there clients Very glad to be done with them and will never recommend or use again . Very Unprofessional agency
