A friend, who works in IT, referred me to Ed @ West Coast Careers, who placed her and several others I knew 10 years ago. I contacted West Coast Careers because my company was closing its west coast operations, and my job was to be eliminated. Although my experience and background is in sales for construction products and not related to IT, I knew the risk to try West Coast Careers is low because their service is free for candidates. I am glad I did because I was placed within 90 days of my last job at a company that appears to be as good or better than the last! Here are the highlights of the value they offered me as a candidate: 1.1-hour candidate screening interview at fully staffed West Coast Careers office. They listened to what I was looking for as well as what I had to offer a company. They assessed my situation and gave me advice before I left on how I could improve my resume. 2. Access to quality companies. Because of their successful track record, longevity, and great reputation in the recruiting business, it appears they attract and retain solid companies. Same for candidates. 3. Trusted advisor. They made sure I was adequately prepared for and knowledgable of the job, hiring managers and company I was interviewing with. We strategized before and debriefed after each interview. I was always kept in the loop at each step of the process, and each follow up call or email was professional and relevant. They also offered a conference room equipped with Skype service for virtual interviews. 4. Negotiations. They took a lot of the angst out of the closing stage. Because they knew what my salary expectations were, they set high standards of matching me with the companies that were looking for my qualifications and could meet my pay level from the beginning. Only when it was a good fit, did they proceed with the interview process. In the end, they negotiated on my behalf for a win-win for me and my employer. I would highly recommend candidates and companies looking for quality, full service, and professional representation in the employment process to use West Coast Careers.

Ashley Clements was excellent in helping me find my next career choice. She interviewed me and gathered all of my experience and skills at first then she went to work for me. I was nervous at first, Ashley was my first interview after graduating college with an Associates in Business Management along with a Marketing & Sales certificate. Even though I have 8+ years experience in the industry, I was place with a company I have no knowledge about and am still learning. I was offered satisfying hourly pay and am happy in my new Inside Sales Facilitator position. Working with West Coast Careers was my first experience ever with a recruiting company and to be honest Ive always had hesitant thoughts with someone else finding me my next job. I assumed it would be similar to a "Temp" agency and this was not the case at all. She prepared me for the interviews and made sure I was ready and confident before I met with the actually soon to be boss. I am very excited to be where I am now and had no idea that I would be at my new place of employment so soon. Any worry about looking or finding work disappeared the second I met with Ashley. She is one their best recruiters I am sure and outstanding at what she does. I have already referred her to friends and family looking for their next career move because of her charisma, organization and willing to help me succeed. I appreciate the experience with her and owe her the most for assisting in getting me where I am now. THANK YOU ASHLEY!!!

So, there I was. As I prepared to spend yet another day fruitlessly sending resumes into the void of company websites and job portals, I received a phone call from Charity with West Coast Careers. I was skeptical at first, having dealt with other recruitment services which left me right back where I started - Gainfully Unemployed. From the start, Charity was different. After a brief in-person meeting, it was evident that she had a true interest in what type of person I was and how to best apply my skill set to a variety of different positions. I soon had multiple interviews booked with a variety of solid companies. Some places would be satisfied and leave it at that, but not Charity and West Coast Careers. Before each interview, I received a detailed rundown of what to expect, what types of questions to prepare, and some ideas on how to present myself in the most positive way. After each interview, they have you walk through the process and help you to craft thank-you notes. Great attention to detail! Charity is incredibly personable and really understands how frustrating it can be to be a long-term job seeker. She does a great job of giving candid advice about each position, as well as answering any questions you may have, all with a smile on her face. If you are looking for a career change, I highly recommend using West Coast Careers to help get things moving. Its a lot easier when you have someone you can trust working as your advocate in these trying times!

I have dealt with a few recruiting companies since moving to Seattle and West Coast Careers is by far the most professional. They were genuinely interested in sending me to companies that were not only a good fit for my skill set, but also a good fit culturally. The fact that they took all this into consideration before sending me out to interview meant that the process of interviewing and hiring went much smoother (and faster) than I anticipated it would. However, the most impressive moment for me as a candidate and former hiring manager, was that they actually reached out to my former managers for professional references. So many agencies ask you what you want/what is important to you in your next position as a formality. Then they sell you into the job that will yield them the biggest ROI. Also, EVERY agency will tell you they check professional references but at least 90% flat out lie about having done it. Think about it ... its the easiest corner to cut. West Coast Careers actually reached out to my former managers and used that information to help the client make the best hiring decision. I will recommend West Coast Careers to professionals seeking a solid opportunity as well as to companies seeking an organization to help them make great hiring choices.

I cannot say enough about Chris and the team at West Coast Careers. It was the best decision I have ever made for my career. The tools I have gained alone will stay with me for the rest of my life. To give it a little perspective, I applied for a position at a well known Tech company 2 months ago. Within the hour, they rejected it with an email saying that my qualifications didnt match. But I was a perfect match. I knew it was a matter of fine tuning my presentation and showing I really have what it takes. Well Chris, was able see that in me and got me an interview to get my foot in the door. 6 interviews later, I was offered a position at that very same company. Because of Chris help I had also received 2 more offers from potential employers that same week. I can honestly say that I wouldnt have gotten the opportunity or the priceless skills that I have picked up without the dedication and expertise of West Coast Careers. They have a great way of seeing what your main strengths are and really working to make sure you find the perfect position for them. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH CHRIS!!! I have already referred you many times and will continue to do so well into the future. Whoohoo! I cant wait to start my new job!!!
