***UNETHICAL*** (Beware of positive reviews. Potentially bribed) EMPLOYERS: My poor experience has been soley with Gwen, so I cant speak for the other staff members at Opti, but Im not sure Id be happy with her seeking employees for my business. I beleive in things like integrity and transparency. After making my first follow up with Opti (Gwen) and asking what I could do to stand out, I was asked to write a Google review. For what? Thus, I beg to question whether or not any positive reviews were asked for as an attempt to fluff the actual service. Secondly, commitments were promised but not made. Specifically, an interview had been scheduled with me by Gwen, yet Gwen had not actually scheduled the interview with the employer. Consider the opposing scenario; an interview was scheduled with an employer by Gwen, yet Gwen had not actually scheduled a potential employee/canidate. Finally, a quick email regarding interest in a position was acceptingly critisized because of lacking proper capitalization, but had been told the email itself (not my resume) was preventing me from being considered for a position. In other words, a perfectly good canidate for a specialized position was not going to even see a canidates resume because of the following: "hi ladies. i think this is a position ive asked about a couple of times... (link to position) i noticed this on the job detail "*Google/Search engine proficiency." it just so happens, im an EXPERT with all kinds of google stuff. sometimes i just play with google stuff cause im bored. can we put in a word for me for this job???" If youre an employer and feel that the email above is worthy of disqualifying me, fine. Otherwise, Id have expected the employent agency to let employers choose canidates based on the resume and experience. Not a Sunday email sent from a phone. Those three experiences make me feel that Gwen is willing to lie, cheat and steal peoples time for her own self interests. If youre an employer and feel ok with someone representing your business in that way, God speed.

Wow! I have never worked with a staffing agency before but I relocated this week from San Diego, CA to Seattle, WA with a job offer unfortunately, when I arrived the job did not pan out. Thankfully a friend referred me to Opti Staffing. I went in and had an interview with Ally she is absolutely amazing, has great positive energy and loves her job! She took time to get to know me and after reviewing my resume thought the executive side of house may be a good or better fit for me so she introduced me to Michelle. Michelle is a complete powerhouse she digs in to get to know you what you like what youre after what your personal and professional goals are, in this conversation she also noticed that I lived pretty far from the office, a little over an hour so she roped in assistance from the Tacoma office that has placements closer to where I live. I went to Tacoma and met with Jes and Rachel. All four of these lovely ladies have followed up with me and and are trying to get me to work in a job that I love with a salary that fits my experience and desire and a placement that is close to my home. Although I am working most closely with Michelle the other ladies have been leveraging their efforts and keeping me in the know or sending things over to Michelle to tell me about. What I appreciate the most is that I have spoken with Michelle every single day this week. I am so happy to have established this relationship with the agency and seeing how they interact with their talent I am positive they have amazing relationships with the employers they are staffing for. I am very excited to have chosen to work with Opti. Chandra A

Finding a job in itself is difficult, it feels even more so when you move to a new state and are out of your comfort zone. Honestly, I signed up with Opti Staffing Group out of location and the fact their website was easy to navigate. Within 2 hours of filling out an online profile and joining their Talent Network, I was contacted by one of their Operations Recruiters Meagan. Not only was she friendly, she asked clarifying questions and answered all of my questions in turn. I was then set up for a get to know you interview and paperwork fill out. When I got there, Meagan introduced herself and informed me that I would be working with her counterpart Gwen. Gwen told me a little about herself and got right down to specifics regarding what I was looking for, what was important in a job and salary expectations. Coming from San Francisco, the cost of living is definitely lower here in Seattle so I knew I couldnt exactly get the same amount as prior, yet. All in all the experience was pleasant and informative, the only thing I would change would be the paperwork with regard to past experience and references as in most cases with applicants, it is already on the resume. Well see how it goes in the coming weeks, as it is before the holiday I dont foresee a lot movement.

Speaking from the customer side of things, we didnt have a great experience with this company or our recruiter, John. The first candidate they sent us had a medical emergency that required that she be out for a week so we requested another. They sent a second one who didnt work out for quite a few reasons (but trust me, no one would be excited to have her on staff after the things she did). I then interviewed a couple of people from their agency before having them work for us but determined that they werent going to be a good fit. I was pretty shocked by the conversation that I had with our recruiter after that. He basically accused my office of things that were pretty crazy, and said that he didnt believe my staff and the things they had reported that the 2nd candidate had done in my absence. I couldnt believe the conversation that we had, and could not believe that he was choosing to not believe me as the customer. I like John and have no problems with him or the company personally, but was really quite shocked to have this experience. Unfortunately I wont be continuing to work with Opti Staffing since they dont support me or my companys needs.

This is the WORST company to get help from. They will promise you everything under the stars and drop the ball at any chance. They will almost make you feel guilty for not wanting to take a job that offers less then what you can afford to take, try and tell you that if you dont take the job you will be drop from their services. Talk about unprofessional! They bad mouth other candidates in the open adn talk of things like, "this candidate is a waste of time" "i cant get them hired how they look"! They discriminate against you base solely on appearance, ethnicity, and sex. The worst company ever to have been used for HELP. This company could not care less about you, your family, your job. They only care about money! Stay far away from the help from this company!!! You are better off digging your self a grave and laying in it then to think these people will help you.

My experience with Kaylee Gaare has been very positive and most helpful and with the assistance of Gwen Schaner who made it all possible. During the middle of December 2014 I submitted dozens of resumes to several companies and didnt realize Opti Staffing Group was supporting the companies hiring process. After a week or so with working with Kaylee she assisted me with my resume, and I feel a lot better now on how its presented. Through out my first week Kaylee advised me of a company that appears to be a good fit for me. I am already scheduled for a second interview the first week of January 2015. Kaylee will be prepping me for the interview and now it’s all up to me, I don’t think you can ask more than that from a recruiter. The Opti Staffing Group (Kaylee and Gwen) in Tukwila is great to work with. You guys are a 5 start recruiting agency.
