Awful all around. I have been a member at and gone to some excellent gyms and trust me, this facility is not one of them. Dont let the upscale facade deceive you, your time and money are better spent elsewhere and heres why: 1) you will NEVER be able to find parking, regardless of the time of day. I work a normal work week, 8-5 monday through friday and have tried going before work (6am), and at several different hours after (6,7,8pm...even resorted to as late as 10pm) and have had so much difficulty finding parking in the area that there have been days where I have simply given up and driven to another facility. 2) Its so busy, rarely is there a time that you dont have to wait for equipment, and when you do find an open rack, treadmill, etc. you best keep your workout short and sweet because another member will be standing there watching and waiting, if not hounding you for the equipment 3) I have been stalked both inside and outside of this facility. I had one evening where a gentleman followed me from one piece of equipment to another during my entire workout, and another evening where I was followed to my car 4) If youre not being stalked, expect to be harassed. There have been multiple occasions at this gym where random men have come up to me and tried to instruct me on how to squat or dead lift, and others who have made disgusting remarks while Im working out such as "oh i like that, do it again". In the year that Ive been going to this gym, I dont think Ive gone a week without being frustrated with my experiences. At this point, Ive given up on this location and moved to another one outside of the mill creek and bothell area (and I live in Mill Creek!). If I hadnt added my boyfriend to my membership, I would have ended my membership by now.

Lets see why you should avoid LA Fitness Mill Creek: - Sales staff misleading, rude, and played games with the numbers. Literally they asked me several times during the tour why I wasnt smiling more (hint hint). -We ended up signing up at another location with multi-club access who were much easier to deal with, with the intention of working out primarily at the mill creek location. We were SINGLED OUT / DISCRIMINATED AGAINST, as a result. This location did not honor our contract, calling our contract "imaginary", insinuating we were liars, etc., just because their computer system did not match our contract. - Assistant manager, Erin, and manager Ziml, demonstrated: belittling, condescending, the opposite of customer centric attitudes. They told us they did not care for our business, laughed at us, hung up on us, and put us on hold with no intention of picking the phone back up (confirmed by another employee). While they represent this chain as the front line management team, their immature and confrontational demeanor are enough of a reason to never do business with this branch or this company as a whole. I cant emphasize enough their belittling behavior laughing at the mere fact that they had no intention of remedying their mistake. Needless to say, we will be cancelling our 2 day contract in short order as we have no intention of patronizing a business that promotes hateful behavior by their management team and belittling their customers. We will be checking out Columbia and or Golds gym as a much better alternative to this shotty business who employs low grade staff with zero customer service skills.

Machines- nice. Cant complain about that... Locker rooms- sure, nice. I dont use them for anything other than going to the bathroom... So...if that is all that matters to you, then this gym will meet your needs and you can stop reading this review and go get a membership. However...CHILDCARE?!? Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! I have been there twice and both times I have left completley disappointed. I went the second time because I REALLY wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt that our first visit just caught them on a bad day... Umm...nope! I dont even know where to start! In a childcare center, I dont think it is too much to ask that the people providing the service would get up- (i.e. stop texting and put down their cell phone...) greet the child- and maybe this is asking too much, but get down at the childs level, ask him/her their name- and help the child feel invited?!? Beyond that...again, maybe- juuuust maybe put-down your cell phone and roll a ball back n forth with the kids...or build a tower...or SOMETHING other than stare at your cell phone and forget about the children you are supposed to be watching! Other things...17 children to 1 instructor (that is on his/her cell phone)..IS THAT EVEN LEGAL? I dont know...but Ive already been in touch with the Washington State Department of Early Learning and they are going to look into this... I know I am not the only unhappy parent because after I picked up my child today, I stood outside the gym and asked other moms and dads what their feelings were on the childcare center...NOT ONE PERSON was happy and we all voiced the same complaints...

This LA fitness location deserves zero stars!! Their customer service is despicable. Spoke with Aaron about a family membership for this location. When I arrived at LA fitness Mill Creek, Aaron was not working. I was given a tour by another LA fitness sales associate named Danny. Danny, verbally attack my husband calling him "fat" and was completely misleading on pricing, along with the clubs amenities. Not only did he belittle me and my husband during our tour, we witnessed the daycare facility release children to adults who did not show identification or sign any paperwork!! We were horrified; no care for child safety or security, any stranger can walk in and take your child!! When this horrific tour came to close, Danny attempted to swindle $258 dollars a month for a family of 3 monthly membership!! When we questioned this pricing (quoting Aarons over the phone monthly price) Danny laughed in our face and told us they would never meet a 100 dollar family of 3 monthly membership. We left and the next day I was contacted by Aaron, asking to come back in to make a deal. Well, unfortunately Aaron only wished to belittle my husband and I more. After experiencing name calling, outward rude and selective behavior we want to alert future customers for the heartache we suffered. Stay away from this company, they are dishonest and target people to bully and borderline verbal assault. I am disgusted with the lack of transparency and accountability to LA fitness Mill Creek and hope no other innocent family has to endure what we experienced.

Ive been to several gyms, and this one has a good lineup of equipment. At least when the equipment is working. Some of the machines seats are unsafe, and can collapse under a users weight. But, overall, Ive been able to expand my workouts because of the number of machines and size of the weight room. Lots of aerobic machines, but some need some repair work. Ive seen panels missing, moving parts out of balance, and loose parts. But, if you need to burn some calories, theres a machine to be had. The staff couldnt be more apathetic or indifferent to the members. They convey the attitude that they dont want to even talk to anyone unless it involves a sale. If one walks up to you and starts a conversation, back out immediately. He/she is trying to sell you a training program. The place is a constant mess, too. Paper towel dispensers are often empty, trash cans are almost always full, many times to overflowing. The mens locker room often smells like 5 acres of old sock. Their male janitor can often be seen hitting on the female members rather than doing his job. I gave the place only one star because of the staff and the constant mess in the building. I know management gets a hold of different sources of feedback, so why the conditions dont improve only leads me to believe that management really isnt interested in feedback from their members. Thats sad, because the place could really be outstanding if management only took things to heart.
