If I could give a ZERO, I would. Let me state that there were two employees working the counter, however one of them was so engrossed with trying to figure out how to stick a label on a package that she was still working on it 5 minutes later when another employee came to the counter to help me and never acknowledged anyone waiting in the line. When I got to the counter and asked to send my packages the least expensive way (HINT: You can request Parcel Post still but it will not show on the pin pad of options and the clerks definitely do not inform you). When I made my request, that is when it turned ugly.... The lady began to question my package "Size." stating that it "Looked" like their Priority mail box that I had re-wrapped. I stated that no, this was my box, not theirs. she continued over and over to ask, accuse and claim that I was lying. three separate times I told her it was not their box. Also worth noting that she never measured my box with her tape measure sitting on the counter. Her "EYEBALLING" it and assuming that it "Looked the same size as her Priority box" was the beginning of her harassment....Not satisfied with my response, She then said that my package was "subject to her further inspection." IMPLYING that she was going to cut off my paper wrapping and look for herself....WHAT an embarrassing and humiliating experience, not to mention the possible violation of my privacy rights that just occurred. I was fuming inside by this treatment and at that point told her that she would not get my business and given that there is a UPS store right down the road, they would have no problems mailing my packages. The costs from UPS were only $2 more than what their price was to send but hassle-free....I will never, never, never go to their facility ever again. FYI: When I called the following day to talk to the supervisor about my experience....guess what??? I was told that the person I described WAS Vo, the Post Master for them.....WOW, what a horrible, horribly mean and sad person.....Listen to all of the other reviews here and take your packages to UPS (1 block further down by QFC) or the Everett Post Office but dont come here.....MY RIGHTS as a customer??? NONE!!! APPOLOGIES for the harassment and mis-treatement???? NEVER. On a side note Vo: IF the priority boxes are free and IF as a customer I were to take it and re-wrap it so that I could send it cheaper, what would the problem really be??? You are still getting my business!!! It seems to me that either you are having a miserable time at your job and want to pass that on to everyone you encounter or the Post Office just wants to extort more money off your customers....Guess what??? Didnt happen and the UPS Store had no problem with my box size...

Ill say that first off, Im a regular here, and I have seen a lot of crap from customers thrown at the employees over time. The complaints from previous reviews about attitudes from employees are not warranted. My experience is that they are friendly, though Ive gotten "civil" from some, but none of them have been rude. Everyone has a bad day, cut them some slack. Yes, the lines can be long sometimes depending on the hour of day and time of year it is (come on folks...You all know when Christmas is. Dont wait the week before to panic and mail things and then whine about the lines-yes, Ive heard plenty of those too), but that is the nature of many public service buildings in Mill Creek. The town was not built with the intention to handle the population that exists now (Ive lived in the area over 20 years). Yes, things need to change in a number of different places in the city, but its not a fault of the branch. About the complaint on not being provided tape, in addition to hearing verbal snarking on similar topics: Their job is not to supply you with stationery. Have your mail/package ready to go when you get there. Dont bring UPS boxes there for returns, if it came through another carrier, it needs to go back the same way. Bring the proper ID of the person youre picking up mail for, theyre not going to just hand it to anyone (thankfully). These are not difficult concepts... As for closing hours, theyve been fairly generous about hours and do not close 10 minutes before posted hours, like another review said. Check your clocks and get there on time or go the next day.

This post office seems to not be aware of passport renewal services. After waiting in line behind 20 people, I was turned away with my items for a passport renewal. It was already nearing closing time. The person working there sent me to the City of Mill Creek building. She told me that she thought it would be closed at 6:00pm and also closed on Mondays (which it was a Monday), but I could head over there. I headed over to the City of Mill Creek building where the person working in the passport office was appalled. She couldnt believe the post office sent me to their office when I just needed to mail in my passport renewal. Since their office was closing, she couldnt help me any further. The post office supplies the envelopes needed to mail passport renewals. The City of Mill Creek passport services is open Mon-Fri until 5:00pm. The person at the post office had no idea. I was sent back to the post office, but it was closed by the time I returned. I think for the future, the post office should train its employees on passport renewal services and shouldnt probably send people off without finding out first. It didnt help I left early from work to get this finished. So, no passport renewal and missed work hours AND a lot of running around for no reason. For the future, training would be beneficial and less embarrassing for the establishment that should be aware of it!

The post office has lost about tenof my packages in the last six months, sometimes the people who they were wrongly delivered to return them to me and sometimes they dont and I have to go through the post office to get them to try and find the packages. Everyone I have had to talk to about this has been unfriendly bordering on rude about finding the packages, and I have had to submit many tickets in order to get them to even respond to me at all. They have yet to manage to find one but it takes them about a month each time to admit this and then I have to go through the company I bought it from to get a replacement and hope its one of the lucky packages to actually get to me. None of these packages has been labelled with the wrong address or anything. As a bonus I have received 4 packages for other people so several of us have really started to form a friendship as we give each other back our missing mail. On the other hand I have lost several unreplaceable things that I dont expect Ill ever see. I have never had a problem like this anywhere else I have lived, and it used to be not as bad, but the last half a year or so it has gotten so terrible that I am starting to have any important or time sensitive things sent to my work to avoid dealing with another undelivered package. That shouldnt be something I have to do.
