Food was good but service was bad. They caterers left their dish/serving ware at my wedding reception. When I called them to say they forgot it they refused to come get it and said the store was already closed so I could not drop it off that day. I had to take the dishes home with me and then drive back another weekend to return them. I live in Snohomish County so it was quite a long way for me to go. They did not offer to compensate for the gas or time it took me to fix their mistakes, they did not even offer to meet halfway since it was their fault. They were very rude over the ordeal when it was their fault and were even a little threatening to me over the phone to get their dishes back. I would not recommend them and am still upset.

Were thrilled with Essence of the Thymes for our wedding catering. We were pretty much sold after trying their Gorgonzola mashed potatoes served with a bite a flank steak and a sprig of thyme at the Kitsap wedding show. It worked out perfectly that they were one of the approved and recommended caterers for our chosen venue. Hope was knowledgeable, professional and down to earth. She provided us great menu options and was flexible with accommodating our preferences. Got tons of compliments on how delicious everything was. They also gave us a sweet wedding present; a great surprise!

We attended tasting events for other fancy caterers in Seattle but Essence of the Thymes had by far the best food (and lowest prices). Our wedding reception dinner was delicious. The petite filet and fresh salmon entrees are unrivaled. Ive never seen a steak cooked to perfection like that, and the lemon caper topping on the salmon was just right. Plus, they make the BEST homemade cheesecake you have ever tasted. So many of our family and friends complimented us on the food: generous portions, beautiful plating, and not too heavy on the sauce or dressing. Highly recommended.

The Essence crew was wonderful. The food was fantastic and great quality especially for the price. Our wedding guests were impressed with their professional buffet and bar service and they all complimented the food! The staff was very flixible and quick to respond to any of our questions or changes. They graciously accomodated a few special dietary restrictions for some of our guests. Essence of the Thymes was amazing for our wedding catering!! Hope ran the event seamlessly, and was so helpful from start to finish! Our guests are still talking about the food. The mini grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters were a big hit!!! I highly recommend contacting Hope, shell make sure everything is amazing!!!
