Recent Horrible experience with Crystal and staff. Our family was very impressed with the knowledge they shared and support given to athletes so much so that we purchased a gift certificate for another member. Greeted with an attitude that was Extremely rude, arrogant and out of line, but as business owners they have the right to act this way and Crystal says "As a business owner, I dont have to explain myself and I can make the executive decision to be this way". I am shocked at the lack of etiquette and arrogant attitude!! There is a lot of competition with who to choose to train with, CHOOSE ANOTHER BOX / GYM They have Bible study group on Wednesdays, but apparently dont believe that they need to act "nice" the rest of the time!! I am absolutely shocked! We expected so much more! You will be happier, uplifted and supported elsewhere. All of those things I thought Crossfit puyallup was about and was wrong. Sad. ** Response to Anson & Crystals comments: Wow... I have no idea what "threats" and "abusive" treatment Crystal is talking about and none of our family ever posted a negative review under an "alias". We can honestly put our name to anything we need to say and we did. This rambling about not being welcome and defending her staff is truly okay with me but the remarks make no sense. If my stating that I would need to leave a bad review because of the extreme rudeness is a threat then I am guilty. I actually gave compliments to them about how Supportive and thoughtful I thought they were and I have no idea why there is such a strong dislike coming from her. I truly thought different. Remember this class was purchased as a gift because we thought positive things! Yes, it is very sad that we were wrong! Telisha is a great writer and wanted a positive experience for everyone. I guess anyone can have a bad day and blow up with accusations that just arent true. Enough said. May any reading this be careful with the many options and choices available and best of health to you.

Im a Active Duty Soldier station out of JBLM, WA. I have been doing CrossFit for over 2 1/2 years now most of the time with my buddies during are combat deployment. During those 2 1/2 years I have worked with in some great CrossFit families with excellent coaches / trainers and I worked is some places that had no love for each other and all the coaches cared about was the money. THIS and I say again THIS IS NOT that type of family. The CrossFit Puyallup is one of the Strongest and Supporting families I have ever been apart of and to lead that family is two of the most knowledgeable and understanding people. Anson and Crystal have taught me more in the last three weeks then I knew in my 2 1/2 years of CrossFit. My goal is to become a CrossFit trainer and coach one day and working under these two will defiantly set me up for success...... SO do I recommend CrossFit Puyallup for a Beginner, Novice, or Advanced Athlete, Heck yeah I do!!! Thank you Anson, Crystal, the rest of the Training staff and most of all the CrossFit Puyallup Family for help making me a Stronger, Faster and Healthier Athlete

Joining CrossFit Puyallup was by far the best change I could have made. At 27, I was overweight and stuck. My fitness routine (if you could even call it that) was just not working. I was positively terrified to sign-up for the Basic course in April 2012 but after the first week, I was hooked. Now, 10 months later, I see changes in my body and my performance I never thought possible. I see the coaches and athletes at CFP 4-5 times a week now and something will just feel “off” if I miss one of my hour long sessions with them. CrossFit is just as much mental as it is physical. Thanks to CFP, I am confident in every aspect of my life now and comfortable with myself. I owe it all to the coaches. CrossFit can have a bad rep as far as injuries go, but the coaches here have a high standard for your own safety and the safety of the other athletes. Anson, Crystal and the rest of their staff are just amazing. Spectacular coaches and great friends.

Well, I guess this is how I have to submit a rebuttal to Holly Ameros review. Long story short, we worked with Holly extensively, even offering her a free month to try and get over her hurdles. Her daughter then joined and was a bad fit due to respect issues and behavior issues during coaching sessions. We asked her to leave because of the impact that it was having on other coaches and athletes. Then, upon informing the Ameros of this, they called and were abusive and threatening. This then assured us that we made the right decision in asking them to leave. We never like to see this kind of stuff happen, but in order to protect our product and services for other athletes, we have to make these difficult decisions. We wish you all the best and hope you find another affiliate that will accomodate your needs. Please dont ever challenge our faith and christianity as we would never question yours. Thanks. I LOVE CROSSFIT PUYALLUP! I love the owners Crystal and Anson, they are always there to help you when your discouraged and down! I myself am only 15 but i love the family like atmosphere at this gym. I am truly excited to workout everyday instead of dreading it. I started Basic class in August just to say i did it and i loved learning all the skills and working on technique! I truly appreciate everything they have helped me accomplish with my fitness goals and I will continue to be a faithful member along with my parents! Another thing that i love is that they want you feel welcomed and known, everyday that i workout Anson always says hi to me and asks me how i am doing... you wont get that at most gyms! Like i said I love Crossfit Puyallup, Crystal and Anson and their kids too ! <3

Crossfit Puyallup ROCKS! Crystal and Anson know what they are doing! What I loved about CFP is they make you attend the basic class. This helped me with the correct movements before I went in with the big class. EVERYONE should have to do this! We recently moved to another state and I attend a Crossfit where people DONT go through a basic class and they are always struggling and we have to wait for people to learn the movements. To the ONE hater of CFP,..Cmon! Crystal and Anson were probably nothing but nice to you! They are some pretty outstanding people who are always caring and willing to help. Thank you Crystal and Anson for being some pretty AMAZING owners/coaches! We will be back in 2 1/2 years to continue our support:)

I have to say when I joined the CFP family last Summer...I was terrified yet excited about the challenge. CrossFit is like nothing else I have tried. It is constantly changing and is always a challenge...the word boredom does not exist in the CrossFit world. Crystal and Anson are awesome!!!! They are constantly encouraging everyone and they genuinely care about each and every CFP family member. I was really discouraged when I had to be out for a hurt foot..but when I was able to come back Crystal and Anson took the time to reasure me and are helping me make the best out of every WOD!!!! The individual attention you get here at CFP is like no other. Crystal and Anson....yall rock!!!!!
