Recently my spouse and I were surprised to receive notice from our landlord that he was planning to sell our current rental and that we had approximately 90 days to move. We decided that, if it were possible to do so, wed like to try to purchase our first home, but were worried about trying to do so in an extremely competitive market under a deadline. We shopped around and spoke to multiple real estate agents, but Jennifer Gilbert-Smith was highly recommended by friends who had recently purchased their first house. Were so glad she was! We ended up working with her exclusively, and she made a daunting process feel simple. Jennifer was quick to respond to any question we might have, helped educate us on a very complicated process, recommended excellent mortgage brokers, provided excellent recommendations and advice during the process and helped show us dozens of houses in a very short amount of time. With her help we were able to find a house that met all of our criteria and budget and close it in record time, well before our deadline. We absolutely could not have done it without her help, and were so grateful for her assistance at every step of the way. I look forward to recommending her to my friends in the future.

If you want a really good, competent real estate agent, then you want Jennifer. I know next to nothing about pricing real estate or real estate transactions. Jennifer first did a thorough Comparative Market Analysis for the home I was selling. Using the Market Analysis, she explained to us what the fair and realistic price range would be for the home. This is the reason you need a real estate agent because if the price is too high then the home can set too long on the market and actually lose value. And of course you want fair market value for your home. Also, Jennifer tells you up front before the home is put on the market what her fee will be. As it turned out, the price she set was the price I got! And it took only about a month and a half. Jennifer very skillfully handled all of the offers: which one to pass on and which one to take. Also, Jennifer is very efficient in managing and informing her clients of all the other details of real estate transactions that require your signature like offers, resale certificates, and escrow.
