I have had good customer service with my gal Kayla but I cant say that with sereval of the other hair stylist. My girlfriend and I both got our hair done the same day kind asked for the same color of red. The girl working on my friends hair rushed through the process. She wanted a drastic red. It was blondish carmel color. I looked at my friend and said I thought you want Red the hair stylist jumped in real fast n said it is red. Umm not thats not even close. My lady and said she could tell my friend wasnt happy and new it was done right. She said she would talk to the lady later because we were getting rushed out of the store. Fine whatever... this time we had made appointments for follow up. I called to cancel because neither one of us could make it. The girl answer asked if we wanted to make an appointment . I Said no I needed to cancel. She say ok hold on. Im on hold for 4 plus mins when they pick up then hang up. So I call back again trying to do the right thing. Im put on hold without anyone saying anything to me. So I hang up call the main ulta and ask for a mgr and she like oh im sorry but her tone was I dont want to hear about and just get off the phone. I can tell you when your spending 200$ on hair for 1 appointment I better get great customer service. You guys are far from the mark. I will not be making another beauty appointment there, even though Kayla was awesome.

Went in today, instead of sephora hoping I would receive better service. I immediately felt rushed because the lady wouldnt stop following me around and watching me when I was swatching/testing products. When i went to leave, i seen an ulta palette I liked on display, so i asked where to find them in the store. One lady told me I had to spend 16.50 in ulta beauty collections to receive the palette as a gift. Being the make up junky I am, went back to ulta collection and picked over 16.50 worth of items. Checked out, no palette? Spent 20 bucks on items from their collection when I didnt want them nor needed them. I even put products that I did want back in hopes I would get the palette so, Im definitely upset. The lady had a bit of an attitude and rude look on her face the entire time and acted like I was stealing when I was browsing and talking on the phone? Even heard other customers complaining about their attitudes and them being followed. No thank you, I didnt feel welcomed at all and wont be making a visit back.

My wife went to this store thinking due to its name she would recieve above average service and a better quality hair dying and cut. What she got was by far the worst service she has ever received in her life. My wife requested a small trim and to have her bangs fixed and to root match her hair, which is honey brown. The stylist Nicole, I believe was her name, cut more than 2 inches off her hair and ruined her bangs beyond repair. The root match turned into her dying her hair dark cherry red which if you know what honey brown looks like, its a night and day difference. My wife told her she didnt like it and her reply was "Yeaaaah, sorry." And then tried to charge her a 170 dollars. We will not be returning to this business ever again and I encourage the rest of you not to make the mistake and assume because they say theyre a high end Beauty salon/store they do good work. They dont. Save yourself the heartache and trouble and go elsewhere.

Every time I go into this store theres this one employee (tall, heavy set African American woman, dont know her name) and she is always SO rude and looks like she doesnt want to be there and gives annoyed looks. I stated I had some questions and she replied "Oh, do you?" sarcastically. It wasnt meant as a joke because I can tell the difference. Shes always rude. Didnt help me at all and answered "I dont know" to my second question while walking away. Another time I was waiting in line, the only one there and she finished helping a customer and just walk away from the register instead of quickly assisting me so I ended up waiting like 5 more minutes because the person ahead of me was having some issue returning an item. Horrible customer service here.

definitely hate this ulta location. i love the store but the staff are complete jerks. i walked in with my sister and they watched us like we were stealing and the manager even whispered to one of the employees "watch these two girls they look suspicious" mind you... we JUST walked in the door. not only that, but they talk on the headsets about guests and i find that completely disrespectful. definitely would suggest a house clean up on the staff because whenever i go into South hill Ulta, i leave feeling disrespected and they make me not want to buy their product.

I LOVE Ulta, one of my top 3 favorite stores... However, this location? Is horrible. Absolutely some of the employees are very helpful and seem to genuinely want to make sure you are satisfied with your visit... But other employees seem bored, annoyed and have just a generally bad attitude... Makes me sad! Definitely wont be visiting this location again. Its worth the drive from Tacoma to skip over Puyallup, and go to either Federal Way or Tukwilla locations.

I wish I could give no stars. I went in for them to fill my hair so the color black would stick and I was told it wasnt going to wash out like I had previously experienced. 2 and a half weeks later, I call saying that it has indeed washed out and they refused to fix it for free because I was passed their "11 day" mark. Bullsh** now I have terrible $130 hair. Thanks for nothing ulta.

Dont get me wrong, I love Ulta. Who doesnt want to see a pallette in person before dropping $75 on it, right? And the rewards are a great bonus... but the customer service here isnt that great. I occasionally will get asked if I want a basket if one of the girls decides to break out of their huddle long enough but otherwise Im on my own.

In store at least 15mun. No help. Guy working there spent the whole time grooming his eyebrows. Finally asked if we need help and I just said no, obviously too busy to help customers. He just said ok and put more makeup on.

I paid $179.00 for an ombre and walked out looking like a carrot. She didnt even do a toner. Now i am having to try and tone my hair. I will never go back to that horrible place. Such a waste of money.

I hate the vibe at this location. Girls here seem irritated working with customers. Go to Ulta off Meridian Ladys there go above and beyond to make you feel special.

Worst experience ever the staff was so rude she told me that I needed to go next door because they dont sell tooth past
