I went in for a cut and dye job, I told her I wanted a long Bob about 3 inch past my shoulders. My hair was to my shoulder blades. This was the second time Ive ever dyed my hair. First my hair was cut, while cutting she cut it about a inch above my shoulders. This was the shortest Ive ever had my hair, but I thought ok it still looks good. She then decided a bayalage would look the best, she did each section in foil and I sat for a few hours. When she washed it out it was to yellow so she did a toner for 20 mins. She said it was still to yellow so she did another toner, I was told It will only be on for 10 to 15 mins. She then went to another client and started dying her hair. I was watching the clock because the smell was giving me a headache since I had dye in my hair for 4 hours at this point. She came back to me 35 mins later and washed it out. My hair was then cut more because it was uneven. I was handed a bill for $211 But was given 20% off so I paid $185. Not given any further instruction so I was off.at dinner I noticed a few chunks of hair that felt rough. The next morning I washed my hair, air dried it and straightened it on med heat. The chunks that were rough fell off while in my hair straightener. I looked closer and if I bent those areas they just broke away. I called the salon, I was told they would send me a deep conditioning treatment to help. But she had to talk to someone first, she would get back as soon as possible. After 24 hours of waiting I called ulta 1-866 number told them what happened they assured me I would get a call within the hour, I waited 5 hours. I called the salon again hoping to talk to the manager, she asked my name and told me to hold. I was promptly hung up on. This happened twice. I called ulta 1-866 number again and reported everything again. She was extremely nice and told me to put coconut oil and olive oil mask on it asap and she would call the general manager. It is now tuesday, 3 days after reporting what happened and the salon has yet to call me, or help me with this problem. I now have 2 inch sections about 2 inches from the bottom missing, and 3 inch hairs all over the top of my head. The bottom of my hair in some parts are so damaged they need to be cut off. I do not recommended them to anyone, the customer service its self is atrocious. All I have done is cried. I cant wash my hair or brush it without more coming out.

I went to get my hair colored, and cut last week . I brought pictures of the two tone foil (blonde& choclate brown) I wanted, and the cut I wanted (professional medium cut). Let me tell you I spent 6 hours in the hair salon patiently waiting for my hair to be done. Usually my hair takes 3 hrs.... Anyways this girl proceeds to tell me she is going to a different salon blah blah blah. After she is done ranting about Ulta we wash my hair.. I see it for the first time I couldnt tell if it was what I wanted until it was dried. She asked me to show her a picture of the cut again so I did then i told her i wanted it the length around the middle of my breast and again I had long hair I wanted it medium similar to a bob but with medium hair trying to look professional!! Well she cuts my hair and it ends up being to my shoulders!! WTF. I look like a little kid, or a play doll. REALLY? She didnt have to dry my hair for me to see wtf she just did. Im instantly in shock how some people do not listen to what you want. So we proceed to dry my hair... I let her know i wanted to have choclate brown highlights and Blonde as i showed her. My blonde is the same color I came in with she put lightner on the roots , my few highlights of brown are like a honey brown. I told her I wanted chunky highlights... After my hair is done im instantly pissed. I could not beleive I spent $125 on a SUPER CHOPPY haircut, complete opposite color than I had asked for, and to spend 6hrs away from my family for all of this. Here is the kicker i tell her my brown is not choclate brown (ignores me). She well no chunky highlights this time, maybe next time?Worst experience ever. Not to mention I had engagment photos this week that I had to postpone. I just can not deal with this. I get home and my mother in law says " you were gone that long just for a haircut?" No one at work noticed my hair was any different than the length. Please learn from my experience. I never right reviews, but this was by far the worst hair experience I have ever had. you i spent

I scheduled an appointment online to go in and get my hair done. A half hour before my appointment the stylist called and said she was running behind and would it be ok to move it back a half hour. I said ok because that is no big deal. I get there 10 minutes before my new and she said it will take 10 minutes, ok thats all good. She wasnt done for another half an hour. I sit down and show her what I want and her first comment is "Oh you have thick hair, we dont have time for that." She told me she would check her schedule to see if she could do it. She comes back with a manager who tells me I signed up for the wrong thing and she has an appointment in an hour. If I want she can do something else, but once again she doesnt have time. Because a hair cut takes precedent over a color. I tried to stand to speak with them but they told me to sit so they were talking down to me the whole time. They said the next available appointment is Saturday. I said that didnt work that I am free the next evening, once again they come back and say we have time at 10 am. I told them that doesnt work and they just looked at each other. WORST experience ever. They were so rude and condescending. I would NEVER recommend going here. The manager that spoke with me was rude as was the stylist. The stylist told her manager she called me hours before my appointment to reschedule which is completely false.

I have been here only two times but I will most likely keep on coming here. I live in Auburn but the 20 minute or so drive to this store was well worth it. The first time, I came here in search of a clear brow gel for my sister. The staff was friendly and helpful. I met Candi, the lady at the Benefit Brow Bar. She is the sweetest! I loved how she wasnt pushing me into getting something that I didnt need but instead helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The second time I was in today. I had scheduled a make up session with Candi and she set up an appointment for me with Jay, the Arch Expert who also does lashes. He was in one word AMAZING! Now I want him to do my lashes all the time! He applied individual lashes in a quick yet thorough and careful manner. What more can I say, I left Ulta today grinning, with an amazing set of natural looking lashes. I am a happy customer! Thank you Candi and Jay!
