Went to the willow for over a year normally got great cuts,but for the last time the same stylist i had been seeing for quite sometime told her i just wanted to tighten up the style not too short then i already had, but for some reason she decided to totally hack the crap out of my hair to the point it would not lay flat in the back and sticks straight out because i have naturally thick dry poofy hair and she cut above the growth pattern and its a short cut already?? So i go into get it fixed because i had a benefit to attend the same day and another stylist i asked if they could fix it instead of the woman who created the monstrosity. She was helpful yet very condescending the whole time acting liken i was over reacting about my hair being screwed(i was thinking come on i paid for this type of service?) and i was not rude just in shock and could not style my own hair due to the hack job and was very disappointed for having to use 3 times the product and took twice the amount of time to style my hair ...and how messed up it was i was just in awe how this all went so badly? ,and iam a forgiving person and go with the flow alot ,but when she said she would talk to management about a comp next time or free product to help with keeping the poof job in the back down...nope NO CALL back nothing and its been two weeks, no sorry from the original stylist nadda...willow salon customer service is key to business i know since i am a small business owner and so is word of mouth and before this i had referred alot of people your way...not anymore i am headed to super nova down the street.

***Update!!!*** Brie was fantastic! After discussing my experience with the owner a second time, she offered to have one of her "level 6" artists correct my hair. My, oh my...did she deliver! Brie took her time to do a thorough consultation and together we came up with a plan to restore my hair. She utilized her creativity and skill to surpass my every expectation. She took no shortcuts and she stopped multiple times to check in and make sure I was truly happy with the progress throughout. I was crying tears of gratitude when I saw the finished result. Thank you, Brie! And THANK YOU to Jolene, the owner, for hearing my concerns and helping to correct this situation. That is true customer service! Original review: My beautiful blonde balayage was turned into locks likely designed for Carrot Top himself by the staff at this salon. Its completely ruined. They refuse to admit it and keep saying how much better my skin tone looks. THEY RUINED MY HAIR. I now wear hats and headbands and ponytails to hide it until I can afford a fix elsewhere. ***UPDATE*** The owner of this salon contacted me and recommended that I take this down. I went in to her business to give her a chance to correct things, after which I would consider updating my review. She waited until the place was clear and then took me to the back room, called me a plethora of names, and told me she doesnt want me as a customer. Solid, lady. No worries, there. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DONT LET THEM RUIN YOUR HAIR, TOO. RUN - FAR AND FAST.

ABSOLUTELY love and trust this place. Pricing is AMAZING for something that definitely felt like a $100+ salon treatment! My hair was long (almost touching my butt) and I wanted a hair cut similar to Ruby Rose and/or Anne Hathaway. Wanting a hair cut this different, I needed a good place to go. I read online about Willows and prayed that this is the perfect place to get my cut. Turns out it was! Literally called the morning of and my appointment was booked just like that! I got my hair cut 2 hours later from that day I called! The area and inside is very beautiful and the ladies working there are VERY friendly. They offered each customer refreshments. My hair stylist name is Jenna and she did absolutely AMAZING in my hair cut. She suggested a more feminine touch rather than plain-short. I agreed on her idea and she was right! Next day at school, I got A LOT of compliments on my new change! Thanks Jenna and Willow for being such an amazing place! Definitely coming back before I head off to college.

Willow was voted Best Salon in Tacoma in 2010 - and they completely deserve it! Rachel, my stylist, has been cutting my hair for the past 5 years - the longest relationship with a stylist Ive ever had. Period. In my whole life! I trust her completely with my curly hair. Ive never gotten as many compliments with anyone else - through all stages of my cut, from just walking out of the salon to 6 months later (if I can stand to wait that long between visits!). Bridget, their aesthetician, does my brows and she is a genius as well! I love that she was willing to take the time to teach me how best to maintain the look weve created between appointments - even offering some makeup tips when I asked.

I have been going to Sarah for over a year now. She was referred to me by my co-worker who had very long hair but wanted a drastic change. Sarah gave her the most amazing inverted bob cut! Soon after I went to Sarah and did the same very drastic change....I loved it and have been going to Sarah ever since. She takes her time and is so knowledgeable. She recommended doing a balayage at my last appointment so we tried it......I have never loved my hair more than I do at this moment. I am constantly getting compliments on my hair. Sarah you are the greatest and make me feel beautiful every time I leave the salon! :)

A couple of years ago, my go-to hair person moved to Snoqualmie, it started to become a hassle driving there, especially during the winter season. So I looked up best salons in Tacoma, WA and Willow Salon had the best reviews. When I made my appointment, they automatically assigned me to Brie. I got a trim, paraffin dip for my hands, and balayage for my hair. She was AMAZING! Super friendly and bubbly. She took the time to ask me what I wanted to do with my hair and she delivered. The salon staff was warm and welcoming. I will definitely make this salon my go-to place!

I have incredibly wavy hair. The type where sometimes I just want to shave my head because it can be so frustrating and so "unpretty". Generic hair cuts dont work for me. Alison was amazing, not only has she professionally grown in her craft by expanding her knowledge with wavy/curly hair, she really takes her time to access your needs, because not all wavy /curly hair is the same, and her personality is just super refreshing. I am super excited that I found my girl. Thank you!!!!

I am very impressed with this salon. I just had a haircut. Chantell took her time and fussed over me for an hour. Each girl seems to have their own specialty and they dont mind sharing you. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. To top it off I received a phone call asking how I liked my cut. I was amazed! Top notch customer service and reasonable pricing. Im going back to try the massage service next.
