Ive recently moved to the Tacoma area from Hawaii. I had the best are from the salon I had gone to for 10 years there. I was very nervous about finding a new salon here that could give me the same quality and experience as my salon in Honolulu. I went to a couple salons here in Tacoma that claim themselves to be high end. In my opinion they have no clue what high end means. Its continuing education, experienced customer service, experience working at different levels of salons and self assurance of how good you really are. I was starting to feel that I was never going to find a salon that would offer all these things until I found Baroque Salon. I was searching the internet and found them. Their website is wonderful because each stylist has a bio detailing their experiences. I read through many of them and came up Adee. Her experience is vast, I contacted her and she quickly got back to me. I have been seeing her now for over 3 months and couldnt be more satisfied with her. Im so happy that Ive found her that even my husband is going to her.

My hair straightener broke while I was getting ready for a date. This salon is close so I walked to it to buy a new one. No one greeted me even after over five minutes of standing at their front counter with the straightener waiting to purchase it. Two employees literally walked up to the counter and checked out their current customers then left me still standing there. Both looked at me and walked away. One of them checked in his next customer who was behind me, he told her he was going to the bathroom and would be right back. The other employee checked her customer out and went back to her station to clean up hair... while she was throwing said hair away she looked over to me again. An employee finally got me help by walking into a back office and Im guessing asking if I had been helped. After that someone came out and checked me out. Had I not already been running late and had time to find another salon or store I wouldnt have spent a penny at this establishment.

I have been seeing Haley Vandoren for my hair needs for a few years now. She recently transferred to Baroque Salon and of course I followed her. Haley is the only one I trust to color my hair. I have very fine and thin hair, and have been attempting to grow it out for years now and Haley always gives me great suggestions about how often I should cut it, how blonde I should go, and what products to use, etc. She is so nice and very good at what she does! Ive gotten an ombre from her and a partial balayage and was very happy with the results of both. If you are looking for a cut and color, go to Haley! She is amazing. As for the salon, it s very cute and in a great location!

Go to Kim here for an amazing haircut. My husband and I both go to her and we love our haircut. She is the only person I will let cut my husbands hair because she makes it look stylish. I have very long and thick hair and she never rushes with it and always makes it look on point.

I dont think its possible to get a bad cut/color here. So much talent. That said, the parking can be tricky as theres not much of it. Bring a hood or umbrella if you want your cute cut to last because the rain might squash it.
