Wanted to share a story of our child who had attended La Petite School in Sammamish, WA this year. We had been attending the school for the last 5 months, starting from Twos and continuing into Early Pre-K. Since last month my son started misbehaving, not listening to the teacher, even biting kids. Since that, school director started calling us almost after every incident, asking to take him home until the end of the day(could happen 2-3 times a week). Weve tried working with the school to develop a path forward, a solution how to decrease the incidents, as this age (2.5+) is well known for the misbehaving and biting and often the problem would just go away by itself. But the school director wasnt really interested in helping the child to resolve the issue, rather than telling us the probably our son doesnt fits their school and we better find a different one. Also that they dont know what to do with our son, and recommended talking with our Doctor about his development (which was the last thing we wanted to hear). We tried to stay in the school for as long as we could, but at the end I felt that the problem is just getting worse without any help from the School. We felt that the problem in school was just shifted onto us, so were changing the school. Discussing similar problem with other daycare, weve discovered that this is really common at this age and can be avoided using different methodologies by school. I feel that such things shouldnt happen, teachers and, especially, School director should have enough knowledge/experience to resolve the incidents and should not be avoided by asking parent to take kid home after every incident, which is a problem for the busy parents. I feel that the outcome of this should be a training on the "misbehaving children" topic for the involved staff, so such cases can be avoided in the future.

My 2 and 4yr old went to LaPetite for the 2016-17 school year. I did not have a great experience. There are about 2 teachers there that I really felt cared for my children. The staff is not welcoming and they rotate constantly. I did not like not knowing who would be in my childs classroom when I picked them up.In addition, new staff were constantly hired and I was never introduced to them. There is nothing quite like the feeling of picking your child up and not recognizing the person taking care of them. It was very distressing to say the least. My children fought me each morning I tried to drop them off for a year. Due to inconsistency and overall poor care, I chose to enroll my children in a different place for next year. I do not recommend this facility.

Not a good place for 3 year old preschooler. It is totally not a loving and nurturing environment. You will not expect a bbq warm welcome at this place. Teachers seemed undereducated. My daughter is fully potty trained and she never have accidents at home. Here for the first time did it. She was crying badly they didnt even care. They tell a 3 year old child to get a napkin and wipe the place by herself and they r giving me incident report on this that she did not wanted to do it. They tell all kids together " okay who ever wants to go potty they can go now be for nap time". Instead of car ing about it they dont care if they want to go or not. Definitely not a learning place for a child.

Our kids have been attending La Petite for 4+ years, since ages 8 months and 3 years. The staff, facilities, and teachers are wonderful and we couldnt ask for a more warm, supportive, safe and fun learning and growing environment for them. The kids look forward to attending and seeing their friends and teachers every day. Its truly amazing to watch how their personalities and potential bloom at each level, especially in Miss Alicias Pre-School class! The enrichment our kids receive from the La Petite teachers and curriculum is a great beginning to their academic and social futures.

Weve had kids in this daycare facility for the past 7 years, and have always been impressed by the quality of staff - from the director, to the teachers at all levels.Every morning, our child(ren) are consistently excited and enthusiastic about their upcoming day with their friends and teachers. Their commitment to excellence is outstanding, and we would strongly recommend any parents living in Sammamish to consider La Petite for their children.

La Petite is a special place, it has warm and loving teachers who teach and let the kids have fun at the same time. A fun loving environment for our 4 year and a place that he loves to attend. Not only have we found a place for him to learn but have developed friendships with the staff that we will maintain for years to come. Our son has learned so much in the last year and it continues to develop more each day. Thank you La Petite!

We have 2 kids in at La Petite. They each started there when they were 4 months old. There has never been a time when they were unhappy there. The director, Ms Tracy, is wonderful. She, and all the teachers, care for all the students very much! They also provide good life lessons and challenges for the kids. It is such a blessing to have our children in such a place where they are happy and safe and cared for so well!!

We have 2 kids at Sammamish LaPetite. The teachers are amazing, and our kids love coming to school each day. From infant care to Pre-K- the classes are challenging, fun and its exciting to watch our kids grow. The teachers care deeply for our kids and work with us through behavior changes, and give us great advice!

Our son goes to La Petit for after-school care. He LOVES it. He gets plenty of exercise and they do lots of crafts to keep their interest. Miss Jessie is great to work with and shes been helping us make sure our son gets his homework done there so it doesnt get piled up after dinner.

My daughter loves her school. She learns a lot: coloring, art, math, languge, manners, science, and a lot of others. She makes a lot of friends. She exercises a lot. She loves all her teachers very much! They are very nice. She is really enjoying staying at school.

How is this place still legally open? No joke - parents, do the rest of us parents a favor and hold these people accountable. I wouldnt let me DOG attend this disgrace of a place.
