I used these guys 9 years ago for flight arrangements for a one year internship to Japan. All was well until I needed to come back. I dont remember all the details now, but its enough to say that they basically screwed up my open ticket and I had to pay thousands of dollars to get back home. They blamed the issue on Delta, who blamed the issue on A A Travel (and back and forth). I cant tell you how many emails and phone calls I had to make before finally giving up and shelling out... I think it was $2,700... which was not money I had at the end of my internship. I came to the conclusion that it was indeed A A Travels fault, as Delta had said. I had emails that backed up my case. I contacted the BBB and the manager Ken called me, infuriated. It still never worked out for me and now when I look them up on the BBB website I cant even find a record for them. The initial deal was a good one and I would have given them 5 stars for that, but the lack of customer care when things go wrong pushed them way down to the bottom. If your ticket is very simple you might consider them to get a good deal, otherwise stay away...

I asked AA travel to apply my sons travel document to China from Chinese Consulate. There was around four weeks before our flight, and the normal process will take 4 business days. Because we booked the flight already, I kept asking them the process. Miss Lin told me it was not that fast and I should not bother calling her all the time. Till one week before our flight, she told me that the application is ready to submit. They will use express process and I should pay $200 for that service (the Chinese consulate only charge $40 for the express service). I got pretty angry about their low efficiency and irresponsibility. When I finally got my document 3 days before our flight, I found that the travel document was already issued one week before the time they said they submitted the application. It is very obvious that they already got the document ready, and just lie to me to get the $200 express service fee. I was outrageous about their business cheating, and definitely will find all possible options to seek the justice.

I reviewed other peoples comments about AA travel, which I agreed that the big problem for this business is not dealing its customer in an honesty way, especially a female maned Ling. I was a patron of this business for many many years, but not any more. My recent booking a travel to China and my wifes Chinese visa obtained from this travel agent, is a very bad experience. Initially she tried to sell the air line ticket for us to go a big round trip but not your direct destination, then book our tickets in higher price. I thought she would treat us right due to a long time customers status. No, I was wrong. When I discovered I can get lower price for my air line tickets within 24 hours and asked her to cancel the booking, she was crying, swearing, and try to playing a crazy women to stop our conversation. So I had to leave her behind, and I will never go back to dealing them again! If you want to travel to China or get your Chinese visa, another travel agent named Holiday ChinaChina is your better choice.

ive booked my ticket from seattle to korea then to China, which include one night stay in korea airport. Ive asked my travel consultant, David, several times, about the accomodation at korea airport. He said its all ok and will be taken care of by the airline. When i got to korea airport, theres no record from my agent of me booking a room. so i have to pay another $100 for accomodations. Then i called David and was told it was MY responsibility to contact the airline to book hotel before the trip, which seemed very odd as hes the one contacting the airline! Then i said even if thats true, why didnt you tell me? Instead, you said its ALL DONE. Then he completely denied and said he told me, which is a TOTAL LIE!

I recently used them to get a Chinese visa and experienced VERY RUDE and DISHONEST customer service. The young guy who sits facing the door kept changing his story about why he needed to charge me more than what he said on the phone. His final story was if the passport holder was a "FOREIGNER" (Who is a "FOREIGNER" here in the States???), he needed to charge more. This is totally a lie. The Chinese embassy charges the same amount for the same type visa regardless if you are a "FOREIGNER" (e.g.Caucasian) or "CHINESE."

TERRIBLE customer service. First of all, my brother emailed them for flight details. They responded with a dollar amount and some not helpful information. My brother got mad and told me to call AA travel on his behave. When I first called, he said hed call me back. Half an hour later, I called again. He told me their system went down and had to call me back in a few more hours. I tried really hard not to put any bad words in this review, but Im NOT happy with AA Travel.

Probably the cheapest travel agency to Asia in the city. Best to go there first and talk to them first hand. I have used them for Japan and China and were great to work with. There was one snafu when I called them for a ticket instead of coming there and doing it. But it was cleared up very quickly. I would recommend them to anyone who can go to their offices. Call often too if you worry too. They dont mind at all.

I have received good service and good prices overall. I have used them about once a year for the past several years to fly to asia and to get visas to china. I usually deal with Ken the owner/manager and have received good price quotes. Yes, they are really busy, but then they do give good deals.

Dishonest people, especially Lynn. Is she the owner? But she is very dishonest. Quote you a price, when you arrive to get the ticket, they bumped up price. what are you going do? I just paid it. But it felt being cheated. they did that TWICE to me. I never use them again.

After searching on all of the usual internet search engines (including kayak), I found AAs prices to be about $250 cheaper. Additionally they worked with extensively as I had to change my itinerary 2 different times. I found them to be helpful and friendly.

Refused to help after the tickets were sold. I actually spent totoal of $3,580 with a lady name Lynn, who has no idea how to draw a seat at all and said that it is my own responsibility to learn how.

They always busy. And have the usual unpleasant Chinese people attitute. But for sure because they want your business they will help you to process the transaction.
