For a video store with a small footprint it has a wide, marvelous, well-chosen selection. The staff is very experienced, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Reckless Videos filing system is a bit eccentric, but charming in its way ("Dusty Guns" indeed) and you quickly adapt. For those of us who live in north Seattle t, Reckless is your place to stop and more enjoyable to browse about in than any clumsy on-line service. It is one of those small, locally-owned shops you hope will never go out of style.

If you want to have a conversation with someone who can recommend you movies based on just about any aspect of cinema this is the place for you. Knowledgeable staff who clearly harbor a true passion for movies. These folks can steer you in the right direction and put movie in your hands that you never knew you NEEDED to watch. Check it out!

Everybody who works here is a movie expert. But not a movie snob. I went with Netflix for a while but missed both the convience of getting the movie you want the day you want it and the personal connections and honest reccomendations frome the friendly folks at Reckless. You just cant beat a great local video store. Big plus- Only place in town that lets you reserve over the phone!

I love Reckless video. The staff are movie buffs and irreverent. One day I was in the browsing and a group of 2 or 3 teenage girls asked one of the staff what the Big Lebowoski was about and the reply was "Its about a rug!" Priceless. We love our neighborhood video store.

Its hard to find a good video store these days. I come from Ballard to rent from Reckless, since Rain City in my neighborhood closed this year. I love the big selection at Reckless, the categories, and the atmosphere. I hope they can stick around for awhile!
