This was the worst experience Ive ever had. Ive never used an employment agency before and Im sad this was my first experience. The employer I was assigned to was extremely disrespectful (also a first time EE user with a very high turn over rate). When I expressed how uncomfortable and unhealthy it was there my agent seemed willing to help. Only to find out later that she had been speaking with the employer without my knowledge and based on whatever was said decided to terminate my employment. Now I didnt want to work there but it would have been nice to be notified that my employment would be ending soon so that I could prepare my family for it. No, thats not what she did. She told the employer to not say anything to me, "she didnt want it to be awkward". Well...its awkward. I met with my employer and had a heart to heart. She told me everything, I told her everything. She apologized. I called my agent after this meeting and questioned her. Why didnt you tell me until today? Why were there conversations going on without me knowing? Do you understand that you made a decision that effects my entire life without even notifying me? But Angie R wouldnt answer come to the phone. I just wanted a meeting. We met the following Monday with her general manager. I told her everything. to make this long story short. I am trying to figure out how to get set up with someone else. I cant even get this woman to email me back as she did before. I emailed her on Friday and Tuesday it is now Wednesday. I had many friends have wonderful experiences with express which is why I chose it. I believe it is disrespectful for an agent to go behind someones back like that. I thought we were a team. I thought my agent was someone I could turn to for support of my placement got out of hand. I thought I would be given ample notice. I even had the nerve to think that they would have an interview lined up for me since I had notified them 3 weeks prior to the termination. The fact is, I am the one who was disposable here and the employer is the one that express supported most. The employer I was with told me she express had interviewers lined up for them. It has been two weeks and I havent seen or heard from Mrs Angie R.

I havent even started working for them yet and already Im very frustrated. You can apply online with an application similar to other companies; give them normal contact information and work history as well as what schools youve attended. Their website is very user friendly in my opinion. You can then apply that application to jobs they have listed online. From there, I got a text that read exactly this "Express Employment has reviewed your application and have jobs that meet your qualifications. Please call us asap to start working!" I got this text on October 9, which is a Friday I didnt call the same day, so I couldnt call on the weekend (obviously). While I admit that I am quite forgetful and didnt call until October 14, Wednesday, the phone call was only to tell me to show up at an "open interview" on the following Monday. Thats another 4 days I must wait to even START the process of getting employment from them. This is all very annoying because I didnt expect the phone call to simply tell me when the open interview was, and I dont appreciate my time being wasted applying online if it was all for naught.

I have worked for Express in 2 other states. I know each are independently owned and this is the ONLY Express that has not sent me out for work. Every employer I have been sent to in the past wanted to buy out my contract. I refused my initial job with this Express due to how far it was from my home. Which they themselves claim to want to find a job that best suits their employee. Driving 45 mins away from home was not doable for me. They now refuse to send me on any work and have never returned my call. I have a very nasty email reply from the recruiter. I have excellent work history with the parent company and with the exception of this office have always had full time employment. Disappointed with my entire experience in Tacoma at Express. Definitely not my experience in the past with other Express Employment Professionals

I just started working for Express Employment on Monday and I couldnt be more impressed. The recruiters are caring and those I had the pleasure to meet and talk with over the phone genuinely care about how I am doing. Jan found me an amazing job that I couldnt be happier with and I really believe she cares about that. Walking into Express was great; everyone there had a smile on their face and I was greeted with kindness and didnt feel uncomfortable at all. All-in-all, Im happy I applied with Express and I will recommend them to anyone looking for a great job.

This Is not a place you want to invest your time. The recruiters will treat you like a slave. I have no doubt most of them are prejudice. The recruiter Bridget is rude and most definitely will leave a bad taste in your mouth. They send you to places you will most definitely feel underpaid. They do not care about the employees, you are just a number to ensure their clients are happy. If you can bypass this place all together. Unless you enjoy being talked to like your crap and dealing with recruiters who are very rude.

Do not waste your time with this sub-par temporary employment agency. They frequently demonstrate on numerous occasions how minimally concerned they are pertaining to their employees. This is essentially a buttered up labor works/labor ready. There are plenty better institutions where your time is worth a considerable amount more. *ADDITIONALLY* THE FIVE STAR REVIEWS ARE NOT GENUINE; THEY ARE BOT ACCOUNTS CREATED BY EXPRESS EMPLOYEES. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE FALSE IMPRESSION THAT THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL BY ANY MEANS.

My experience with express employment has been a favorable one. Bridget was one of the first recruiters I meet there and she was awesome. She really listened to me and reviewed my resume of unique skills and found me an opportunity with a first class company that meet my desired pay, schedule, and environment. I found express to be a class A agency and i would definitely tell all to give them a try.......cause it will be there last. Hats off Express and thank you. A blessed customer.

These people put my life in danger by an temporary employee who had a criminal background. I was accosted at the job and was told there wouldnt be an retaliation, as their contract stated, for me letting them know. They did just that, they never fixed the problem and never call me back. They have been reported to corporate headquarters. They thought it was funny and even suggested I go back to the job. I value my life even though they didnt. I would never ever work for these people.

23 years ago when I started with Express I was not sure how the job hunting experience of Express differed from regular door to door search for work. It did not take long to see how beneficial the services is. Watching associates gain a footing and put their lives together has been the most rewarding part of the job. The heart of our office has never faltered, helping those coming through our doors to succeed in the lives they want to live.
