This company specializes in collecting peoples information. I personally saw 8 foreigners apply, give all personal information, and turn them away for Vesta, the worst call center in Portland, for a lack English skills. Also they "hire" for jobs that have one position open, yet accept hundreds of applications. If you sit in the office waiting for an assortment of assessments, you will see people applying all day as if they were actually hiring. Dont let the depression sucker you into giving personal information to a franchise agency that has no work and little legal recourse for intrusive application processes. I bet individuals within the company are selling personal information.

Express is the best employment agency in Portland in my opinion! I have just recently moved here about 5 months ago and they have found me work that I have truly enjoyed and the staff is super friendly and amazingly helpful and did I mention that they also found my fianc a job in a field that they dont normally do which is maintenance! I could not be anymore satisfied with the way they do business and highly recommend anyone looking for work to come to their office in east Portland!

I am truly surprised that express is currently getting four stars here. After working for them for four years (full time jobs) and making a ton of money for them in the process, I went to school. While I went to school I even referred a couple people to them. After finishing school, I called them a number of times, and after speaking withe the receptionist, who said that they will call me right back, never got a reply. After this I truly got disappointed.

They will try to assign you a job you already told them you dont want to do, these jobs are the bottom of the barrel that nobody wants, if you tell them you are Un happy with the place and want a different position to bad. They will send you places where you would obviously start above $10 but tell you that its 9.45 to start. Example= new seasons pays temp $12 unless through express its minimum wage.. theft. Scandle..

This branch is very helpful. I needed a flexible job ASAP and they were able to assist and deliver. Great staff. In particular: Carlos, Hanna and Rachel are awesome! Wouldnt go to any other staffing agency just because of your help. I am currently working on starting my own business so being a part of a staffing agency (this branch) is a big help to achieve my goals. Kudos to you three and Merry Christmas.

Showed up early and was kept waiting for almost half an hour after the time of my scheduled appointment only to be told AFTER that they would not give me any work. Do not say you may start a job or may have a part time job with a flexible schedule because they will waste your time and then tell you to come back when youre for-sure jobless.

All jobs and interactions are what you make it but Im glad I chose EE instead of Labor Ready. Theyre professional and respond to emails/calls/texts quick.
