Its been a while since i have used UPS. I actually thought their system was pretty good. Until yestyerday. I recently ordered an item that needed to have a living person with ID to receive it. The UPS deliveries generally arrive here in the late afternoon (before 5 pm). Of course, I work for a living and dont usually arrive home until 5:30 on most days. After receiving the "Info notice" I called the 800 # listed on the notice. Well, of course I got a recording!! Real people cost too much. The recording was one of those insipid "interactive" recording that sounds like a nicer woman talking with you about your package and asks things like the ID #, your address, etc. When we got to the yes and npo questions, all of a sudden she becasme hard of hearing and bumped me to a living person (I wioshe she had done it sooner). I spoke with a very nice woman who sounded as though she may have had relationships in the Indian subcontinent. She was very helpful and informed me that the Yakima UPS office is now closed on Saturdays (even though it is attached to the buklding from which the trucks are dispatched). My options boiled sown to paying the subcontracted providers $6.00 for the honor of driving by and picking up my parcel or sit on it from Friday until Monday when UPS decides to reopen the [art of their shipping area that hands out packages. Can anyone say customer service? Sure, I knew UPS couldnt. Given a choice in the future, I will avoid UPS like the plague. Even this rating system won;t allow me to a no star rating even though that would be benevolent of me.

Absolutely horrible service to Yakima ordered an Amazon prime gift shipped separately one arrived on my sons birthday and the other still not delivered due to bad weather or natural disaster and its been saying that for over a week and I cant get a hold of any human just the stupid one 800-number recording. My son said the weather has been sunny and fine hes getting his mail every day what is going on with UPS over there !? Horrible customer service and delivery in Yakima I live in Western Washington and I have no problems and UPS is great obviously some serious problems with the Union Gap center.

I had a great experience here - no problems. Customer service was good. The lady who helped me wasnt super bubbly or something, but she was patient, helpful, and easy to get along with. The price wasnt over the top, insurance wasnt expensive, and the package got there on time. Nothing bad to say. Going there again today instead of the post office. That said, I dont understand the 1-6PM hours either except that this seems to be more of a shipment center/warehouse rather than a UPS Store for customers.

I was told that I would get my package on Monday by 8 pm and it didnt arrive. Then I was told I would get my package by 8pm on Tuesday and that it was on a truck out for delivery at 11:29pm. Waited all of Tuesday and it didnt arrive. It is now Wednesday and they said it was out for delivery at 3:56am and it hasnt arrived and I live 15 minutes away from thier facility. I ordered one day shipping.

Nothing, these guys have the worst delivery drivers anymore!! These new drivers are afraid to drive there trucks my package was delayed for 3 days due to bad weather. If they would have come up with something other then a lie I could have picked it up instead they waited three days before informing me I would have to pick up a package I paid shipping on? Wtf they are so lazy!!

Very terrible...i ordered two items from eBay and both item were never delivered to my address in Yakima. I called UPS and they said they had attempted delivery several,which is not true. The driver didnt even leave a courtesy notice, so how am I suppose to believe that they made several delivery attempts? I dont recommend business with these particular branch.

Tracking package online and see that the package was delivered over 24 hours ago and left at the "office". There is no office. Call the 800 line and am told that I will be contacted within the hour by the Yakima UPS. No call, still waiting. This isnt my first frustration with UPS, it seems to be a chronic problem for this company.

Horrible. They kept losing my package. There were also times they couldnt find my address, which makes no sense to me. Its easily found on google maps. Ive just gone through too many negative experiences with them.

I dont believe that they really came to my house and the package is hardly ever at the Ups site either. Took me a week to finally pick up my package.

It never fails when ever I have a package out for delivery theres always a emergency or weather problem. But my neighbor gets them all the time.
