Dishonest!!! Last summer, I took my PC to Comprite because I thought my 250 gig hard drive failed. They told me that they could install a 500 gig for $258.00. I told them I didnt need 500 gigs because I had external hard drives. They told me they didnt have any 250s but would get one in. The price quoted was about $160. I waited about 6 WEEKS before they finally called. I went in and they told me the total was $225. (For $33 more I could have had the 500 gigs!!) I wanted my PC so I paid up and took it home. The first thing I noticed was that the hard drive was already 1/2 full! I went to "properties and found they had installed an 80 gig hard drive!!! I went back and they opened it up and sure enough 80 gig was printed on the hard drive. They mumbled and made lame excuses. Excuse!! How can you excuse being caught cheating?? They still didnt have a used 250 gig so sold me a new one and still charged me $20 more but would only charge me $10 because of all the trouble I was caused! TYVM Three weeks later, my PC started freezing up and booting me off line. I took it to another repair shop and they informed me the mother board was bad all along. Comprite didnt even run a check on the PC they apparently just took my word for it. I wound up buying another computer and am out all of my time and money.

I feel swindled and bamboozled. I brought a laptop that i got from a friend in so i could get a charger for it. They had the one i needed and they even tested it to make sure it worked. It definetly was charging it but when the clerk tried turning it on it would just turn back off. The clerk asked me if the battery was dead and i said most likely. I told him id take it home and charge it and try it in the morning, I did. It still did the same thing with a full battery so i considered the thing toast, as its an old laptop not worth the repairs. I tried returning the no-not-needed charger this after work and was told that they dont typically give refunds, but could give store credit. This was surprising to me, as i was not informed that they dont do refunds. The clerk tried to ease my confusion by telling me that it states the no refund policy on the receipt that i signed after i purchased. Repeat: no refund notice - on receipt - after purchase. Now im out $50... but i have a cord. Thanks Fixoid.

Brought a perfectly working iphone 5s with cracked screen for screen replacement, and took back home a bunch of parts that were simply thrown in a box. My almost brand new battery had a dent on it and Iam not sure if it the same one I had in my phone prior to the repair, and the screen i got back was definitely not mine. After a week of discussions and heavy arguments with store owner and other sales representatives I was offered store credit toward a purchase within the store. The inventory consists of heavily used phones at inflated price such as: $200 for used LG K10- which is sold for $165 by my carrier, $200 for Samsung S4, $400 for well used iphone 6s. After I refused to buy old phones and requested to replace my phone with another working iphone 5s for free, the store manager yelled at me in front of other customers. I wish I would read reviews before going there with my sons phone. Now I learned my lesson, unfortunately it costed me a lot of money.

After the very rude owner of phonestop "replaced" my samsung phones screen with the screen of a genuine but USED screen the awesome owner of comprite checked my phone and replace some screws and cleaned the debris phonestop left behind. Along with peices of tape that were supposed to be replaced after installing a new screen. If comprite didnt look at my phone it is almost certain that I would have a 300 dollar paperweight. I wish I had taken my phone to comprite in the first place but you dont really know theres poison in the well til little timmy drinks from it..I hate being little timmy..Stay away from PhoneStop.. I had asked the phonestop owner if he would just put my old broken screen back in and give me a partial refund so i could get it repaired somewhere else but he wouldnt. He just said it was better than what I had before and kept my money. Sorry for the ranting I guess ill go back to my mansion and my 100 dollar bill toilet paper dispencer..

I bought a "Genius" mouse for my Toshiba Satellite laptop but was tired and did not look at the connection (I needed a USB and the purchased one was a PS/2). That was MY second mistake. I tried to take it back with the idea of maybe getting my money back (which it seems will NEVER happen). Alex (the sales rep) tried to give me a very used Dell mouse, with a base so scuffed that it looked like a car had dragged it down the road (instead of actually looking for the mouse with the proper connector [ which happened to be in stock]). I was eventually satisfied with the mouse, but the customer service sucks. As to my FIRST mistake? That would be walking in the door to begin with. Grand opening should be followed up with an epic failure closing! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! If cheating the customer is the model for this place then they are doing a GREAT job! I only wish I could give them NO STARS. They did not even rate the one I had to give to publish this.

I am not a Happy Camper right now. I took my laptop into this store because they advertise flat rate computer repair and since I work from home and have to have my computer to work I had to have it fixed right away. ( this was on Oct 1st) Anyway I got a really nasty virus that disabled everything. Alex told me that he would be able to get rid of the virus, retrieve my data and install a 5 star virus protection program to a total cost of $291.60. So I get home today with my computer and when I sat down to my "like brand new computer" (this is what Alex told me when I left it with him) I have more CRAP and Advertisements and virus than what there was when I took it in. Some thing called DealCabby. When I googled DealCabby I find out it is a virus. WHAT THE HELL DID I PAY ALMOST $300 FOR??? I dont have the time or the gas at $4 a gallon to be running back and forth to the store to have my computer repaired properly. DONT GO THERE!!!!!

Was told on phone they had a flat-rate fee of $149 regardless of how long the repair took. I complained how thats a great deal for someone with a really complex repair, but my repair wasnt. The person on the phone said they could work with me. Took my laptop in and was immediately told it was a flat-rate of $179. I told him that wasnt what I was told on the phone, and he acted like he was then giving me some deal at $149. He also told me there would be no working with me. I ultimately agreed when he said it would be done the next morning, they would call. The next morning came and went no call. Closed Sunday. Waited until 3pm MONDAY, no call. Finally called them, and it had been done since Saturday afternoon, but no one called. Very unprofessional, unapologetic, extremely expensive, shady and will never go there again. There are plenty of other computer repair options in town.
