Im always a little paranoid when getting my hair cut and especially when finding a new stylist. I did my research, found lots of great reviews for Glitter, saw some nice work on their website, so I decided to give them a try. I wanted sort of an alternative style cut with lots of layers and razoring. I spoke to Jennifer (the owner) about it while making the appointment and she recommended a stylist for me. She also said that if the stylist or I felt worried that she would be happy to give a consultation to make sure everyone was comfortable with the plan. In the end BOTH stylist ended up cutting my hair. My stylist Emily hadnt done that sort of layering on longer hair before and wanted to see how Jennifer would do it. Emily did a great consultation, was very upfront and honest, super friendly and polite. Because of this fabulous teamwork and cooperation, I feel like I got a really great hair cut! Love the drama free atmosphere. And apparently theyre constantly learning, drawing from each other, and continuing education in hair - which is the way it SHOULD be! Im looking forward to seeing Emily again in the future, because Im pretty sure Ive found my permanent salon

Beautiful salon. Kind, talented people. Extremely reasonable prices. What else could you want in a salon?! Emily is AMAZING! After moving to the area, I spent a lot of time trying to find a salon where I felt comfortable. At the time, I had a mid-length angled bob and struggled finding someone who could make my extremely fine, straight hair look good. After seeing pictures of their work on Facebook, I booked an appointment with Emily right away. The entire staff is seriously the best. Everyone makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable. Ive only worked with Emily, but have seen Jennier and Teias beautiful work in person and am incredibly impressed. Emily is without a doubt the best stylist Ive ever worked with. Shes AMAZING at taking my ideas and images and giving me exactly what I want. Ive seen her about 6 times in the past year and half and walk out thrilled with my hair every single time. I cannot recommend Emily and the entire team at Glitter Hair Salon enough!

Today was my first time at Glitter Hair Salon and I absolutely LOVED IT!!! I went from straggly, long, "hombred"(yes I mistakenly did it at home) hair to beautiful healthy hair with caramel high-lights and low- lights,which I absolutely love. Jennifer Cooper cut, foiled and styled my hair beautifully as well as making me feel comfortable and special all while maintaining a professional atmosphere. I have soft, wavy, very thick hair as well as an extremely high density, but surprisingly enough Jennifer concurred my hair with ease. And did I mention she waxed my eyebrows. Generally I have not liked big, "frou-frou" salons, and I have found small salons to be gossipy. However Glitter Hair Salon manages to keep the professionalism from larger salons while keeping the personable touch that comes with a small salon. They manage to do so without drama and gossip. I truly recommend Glitter Hair Salon to everybody!! :) So lets all get GLITTERED!!!!

Im writing a review for Glitter Hairsalon from my husbands account. May I mention first that I had a wonderful experience beginning to end. I was scheduled to have my haircut with one of Jennifers associates but instead Jennifer cut my hair. Its been approximately two months ago, on a Saturday afternoon but as I remember we had inclement weather and Jennifer was so courteous as to give her associates a day off. Jennifer personally called me and gave me the option to still come in or reschedule. I was excited and desperately needed a cut so I made the decision to still come in. When I arrived Jennifer was so welcoming with her genuine smile and personality. She was a delight to be around! Im sure that her team is a delight to be around too. I plan on scheduling my two daughters to come in very soon. I certainly would trust the team to do a wonderful job on all three of us girls. Jennifer Paluch

I am new to the area so needed to find a new hairdresser to color and cut my hair. I used reviews to help me decide on the Glitter Hair Salon so I made an appointment with Jennifer. I now feel I have successfully made the move as I have found a great person to do my hair, Jennifer. The Salon is clean and professional. Jennifer listened intently as I described what I liked done with my hair. She offered suggestions if I asked and we had a nice time going over what she would do. I didnt feel like I was rushed like I have been at other places and she made me feel she would do what I really wanted. She also is gentle and careful. The coloring was the best I have had as she was able to keep my highlights and match the color very well. The cut was great also. After setting up my next appointment I went out feeling wonderful.

At the end of the workday I had a pre-cut meeting with the owner to discuss my desires. Jennifer even offered to stay and cut my hair that evening. The day I came in for my appointment I was very pleased with the professionalism, competence, and overall impression of the salon. I received the BEST cut Ive had in over 12 years!!! I have thick hair and have been cutting 2-4 inches off every month or so since arriving in WV, just hoping to fine a salon that can properly thin and style my hair. Well, I have found my salon and hairdresser!! YES! totally recommend this salon to anyone who suffers from super thick hair that also has cowlicks and swirls (arent I special?) and cannot find a trustworthy hair stylist who will not only listen to you, but is extremely competent in her trade. Jennifer, the owner of Glitter Hair Salon, is a one-of-a-kind woman. Rarely do you meet a true kindred spirit in this world. She defines the term. Jennifer went above and beyond to help me, a complete stranger, during her personal time. She truely cares about her clients and sees them as people and not as dollar signs. She has made a client for life and I will refer her, and her staff, to anyone and everyone in the future. I wish there were more women in the world like her. Thank you so much Jennifer. You not only gave me a fantastic new look, you gave me a much needed boost in self esteem. You cant put a price on that. I will be returning.

Jennifer Cooper at Glitter Hair Salon is AWESOME! Shes not only very friendly, but incredibly knowledgeable. She asks for your input and what you want the end result to be, but offers suggestions based on her vast experience. I not only love my haircut, but she also answered all my questions about color that alleviated any of my concerns so Ill be calling her for that too! The salon is cute, clean, and welcoming. Scheduling appointments couldnt be easier or more convenient. Her system even sends reminders! I would recommend Jennifer and the Glitter Hair Salon, especially to someone looking for cut and/or color.

I always hated going to get my hair cut because Ive always had unpleasant experiences and no one could ever help me figure out what style would fit me.
