This place gives a whole new meaning to poor customer service. After entering this salon I gave the nail technician instructions on what I wanted done on my nails (full set of acrylics) and asked how long the wait would be, since I was on a time schedule for the day and every technician was working with a customer. The woman said it would be a 5 minute wait and I said I would wait. After sitting in the first work section for at least 10 min, she comes over and I tell her I have press on nails at the moment; she instructs me to pop them off myself and I just did so since I was in a rush. After I removed them she started filing and clipping my nails. When she got to gluing on the plastic nail tips, 3 out of the 10 nails were applied crooked and looked so awful; they were so thin that just basic clipping and filing made some of the nails crack on the sides. After shaping them the way I asked her to she laid down the acrylic mixture; the way she applied it gave the nail a thicker appearance at the tip and was unflattering at best. After it dried down she filed the edges some more to refine the shape I suppose. I went to wash my hands to remove the nail shaving bits and was instructed to wait at another station to have the polish put on. The same woman who applied the nails came and finished up with an uneven polish job, not even bothering to apply it all the way to the nail bed and skipping edges. Once she finished that I put my nails under the fan and waited about 20 minutes or so for them to dry. One of the other women working checked to see if they were completely dry and I was on my way out the door. Looking back on this experience I wish I never walked into that awful salon; the technicians were also very standoffish to my mother and group that brought me there, probably because they werent there to spend money. I would highly suggest to you going somewhere else with your business; this place is going nowhere fast.

Horrible experience. I never leave ratings, but I was so disappointed with this place that I felt the need to warn others. I came in an hour and a half before my haute appointment and asked if that would be enough time to get my nails done. They said yes, I got my toes done and then nails. This was a day before my wedding and I went with my bridesmaid. We were 2 of 3 customers and there were 3 people working. They didnt finish my nails in time so I moved my appointment to half an hour later, which was a total of 2 hours for acrylic nails and types polish. I misread my second appointment because when I reminded the lady about my appointment time, she looked at the clock, then got up and swept the entire floor slowly. My nails chipped on every mail by my cuticles 2 after getting them done. They looked pretty, but were uneven but I didnt mind. I left a 5 dollar tip, and the lady raised her voice at me and said "Only 5 dollar? For tip?" and made me feel bad, so I left more of a tip when they didnt even deserve one at all. Point being, they took their time and I still got poor quality nails! What a waste!

Walked in and there were no smiles, no greet just what do you want? I specifically say I want an acrylic set NO GEL because I paid $40 for a set and only lasted a week and a half. She rushes through the whole process like its a race. And she asks me again if I want gel and I say no. Well they came out bubbly, and some were even crooked. I go to pay and she says $40 so I guess I got the gel anyway and she lost a customer for good. I called in the next day to make sure I wasnt going crazy about the price. I asked what a acrylic set with no design costs she says $25. All I can say is wow please dont go here because they are raping you with prices, they have no personality, and they do what they want and not what you want.

Star Nails is professional, clean, and friendly. I got off work late and needed to get my nails done and go to my friends engagement party. I visited several nail salons but they all had an hour waiting time. So when I got to Star Nails, I was told I had to wait 20 minutes. I thought they were lying to get me to stay. But I still stayed because I didnt want to be late for my friends party. They were fairly busy. After 25 minutes, a lady told me to sit at her desk. After everything was finished. I still loved my nails. They employees treated their customers like family. But Im rating Star Nails a 4 because I waited 25 instead of 20 minutes. You guys lost a star because of 5 minutes. :)

I came to the shop to have my nails done and I really loved them. They did what I asked and the nail technicians were very friendly. The shop is clean and very well put together. I suggest if you need your nails done, this place is perfect!
