Our experience with TDS Custom Construction has spanned a decade, with first a complete basement remodel undertaken about 10 years ago. The design, the underlying mechanicals, and the construction quality were absolutely the best. Our remodeled basement looks and functions as well now as when it was completed. Currently we have been working with TDS staff Eric and Nancy on designs for kitchen and bathroom remodeling. They have been great to work with, extremely knowledgeable, patient with our questions and indecision, and focused on providing us exactly what we are looking for. In fact, they have been experts at helping us discover what it is we are looking for, even if we can’t articulate it very well. They have been very gracious and supportive throughout the process, and we are thrilled with the design plans that are the result. Having worked now with Sam and his staff at TDS on two different occasions over a decade, we can confidently say that, in our opinion, this is how a custom design-build company should work. That is, customer-focused service, providing innovative design, using sustainable and green building techniques -- all coming together in beautiful and efficient spaces. We give Sam and all the folks we have worked with at TDS our highest compliments and recommendation. We can’t imagine a better company with which to work.

My experience with TDS Custom Construction was wonderful. We began the project discussing with Sam the vision, getting his input on how we might accomplish it, then worked with Nancy to design the project and then Sean worked on the remodel in order to make it happen. Each one of them was conscientious, respectful of my wishes and absolutely a dream to work with. I could not be more pleased with the results. I would highly recommend TDS to anyone interested in an add-on or remodeling project!

TDS built a custom desk/computer cabinet in my motorhome. I got exactly what I wanted plus. Its totally secure when on the road and opens up conveniently when in use. They added a pencil drawer below the keyboard shelf - I hadnt thought of that, but its perfect. It matches other woodwork in the cabin - couldnt be more perfect. Highly recommended. We have had TDS do everything from a major kitchen addition to an energy audit and an insulation upgrade. We have also had them tackle a leaky old roof that others had tried to fix to no avail. TDS fixed it on their first try and will continue to keep our home in good repair for years to come. The staff are great and I would highly recommend them for any job large or small.

We were so impressed with the professionalism of everyone on the job, even subcontractors. Their lead carpenter Sean is an incredible craftsman and his inclusiveness with us on specific elements of the job made us feel like we were a part of the project at all times.
