For starters, the website estimates a 1 day service turnaround for the Farwell site. Other Milwaukee PC locations gave longer estimates on the web, so I went to the Farwell location. The guy at the service desk did the intake process and gave me an estimate of 6 days. It is reasonable to think that they were just ridiculously busy and that all of the shops around would be just as busy. I took my laptop in on a Tuesday morning. I called Friday just to see what the status was, and was told on Friday afternoon that the tech would be looking at it that day and would call probably late. I did not hear anything back. I called again on Tuesday, a week after I took the laptop in, and got the same speech. No one called back. I finally gave up and just stopped in to just take the laptop back, and it appears someone did at least diagnose the laptop - but apparently the customer could not be bothered to be notified. I paid the $70 and left. I called other places in the meantime that guaranteed they would look at it within two days - if I were you, Id go there.

DO NOT GO HERE! To start off the experience they did not notify me that my laptop was ready until I called almost two weeks later. I then went into pick up my laptop and a very young (middle-school age) girl checked me out. I was just about to pay and I decided to check everything out and make sure it worked. Im glad I did because the SAME problem of an unresponsive screen happened. They changed the entire screen which costs $180. Not to mention it looked like they glued parts of my laptop back together with Elmers glue. I went back in the next day to pick it up after they called and told me they fixed the "second problem" for free. After seeing that the laptop worked I was so annoyed with the whole experience I stupidly paid the $180 dollars and left. I got home and come to find out they broke my charger as well! I have never written a review in my life but I feel very strongly about this. He has his young daughter doing all the work (which is screwed up too) and then doesnt compensate for his own mistakes.

My computer had crashed and I thought I lost everything. The computer would not boot up windows, no safe mode, nothing. For $70 I got 6 years worth of word documents, emails, and thousands of photos recovered onto a external hard drive. My external hard drive would not work so they gave me one. In addition, I was having difficulty finding my recovered mail on the external hard drive. I had to make three phone calls and eventually a trip down to the store. However, that level of service was necessary because I didnt know what I was doing. They were very generous with their time and patient with me when they took the time on three different phone calls and immediately took care of me when I came in to the store. The general manager, Kenneth Jaeger was there and ensured I was happy before I left. I thought the price was ridiculously fair for the service I received.

I have used this store a couple times. The first time was to recover a hard drive after it crashed. They transferred my data onto a usb drive for about 75 bucks. The second time I had them reconfigure the storage on a laptop and fix office on a different windows 8 laptop. They had to uninstall windows and reinstall it to get the windows 8 laptop to work. They did the last job for about $165 (two laptops). Very different experience from Geek Squad at Best Buy, where the staff just are not very knowledgeable and just to do a diagnostic costs $75. I found the manager at this location very professional. Just a great overall experience. If you want fair pricing, knowledgeable staff (i.e. they dont have to send it out of the store to fix), and a timely repair, you really cant go wrong. Highly recommended!

Very unresponsive customer service. Left a piece off my computer without telling me and kept my computer until I called. Steep prices as well, charged the maximum amount in the range I was quoted for.

This place is waaaay over priced for the quality. You might as well go to best buy or online to find a company. The internet they provide is no good either...very laaggy.

Stopped in because I was having problems with my computer that I built. Tim helped me trouble shoot and corner the problem. Great service and a good learning experience.
