I used to go to the Hair Company for several years but will no longer be returning for several reasons. I was very excited to go in and get a facial while I was (very) pregnant. I repeated asked if it was alright for me to come in so late in my pregnancy. They assured me it would be fine. When I came in, I was told to lay on my back...um...that is not safe for a baby and not comfortable for me! So I was brought a teeny, tiny pillow...yeah...still not going to work. Finally, we worked it out but when I started to feel faint, I felt like I was inconveniencing the employee by asking for water. She walked out huffing and annoyed. Also, when I had my hair highlighted I was never shown or asked if the color would be alright. When I went back to get it fixed the way I wanted, the stylist commented and rolled her eyes like I just wanted another highlighting job. She got mad at me for not understanding blonde vs. caramel colors and made me feel awful, so I have never been back.

I had an appointment for a full color, cut and style. I was in shock when I saw myself in the mirror. My hair was jet black - the color was so extreme and unnatural - and there was a one inch hair dye stain around my face. The cut was nothing to write home about and the "style" was a partial dry and a handful of curls. To sum up my new look, my husband said that I looked like Alice Cooper with sharpie drawn on my face. Normally, if I have a bad experience in any service industry, I like to give them the opportunity to remedy the situation. This experience was so bad that I had zero faith it could be made right. Furthermore, it wasnt a pampering like experience. It felt like I was in a factory - get them in, get them out.

Ive been going to Hair Company for about 15 years, and for the past few years Ive had the pleasure of Courtney being my stylist for most appointments. The salon is always clean and the front counter is almost always staffed by a friendly smiling person. Courtney is always on schedule, takes a few moments to chat and ask about what I would like done during the appointment. Shes talkative, but asks questions about my family, etc. Ive always felt very comfortable in her hands. Great cuts, every time. The salon has an improved location since thy built a new building, its much easier to get to. I have recommended Hair Company & Spa to many friends and family and will continue to do so.

I too had a very poor experience at this salon. I was 5 minutes late due to traffic and when I came in the receptionist stated that since I was late, the stylist could not cut and style my hair in that short amount of time and that I needed to come back an hour and a half later. So I came back and the stylist started out very polite but when I told her that one side was uneven she said "Im working really hard here, and feel that you dont like the hair cut" She trimmed the other side and said, "well, Im sorry to say this, but youve gotta be done because my next client is here." As though my time didnt matter. Very rude service.

From the moment you walk through the door to when you leave, the women at Hair Company & Spa make you feel special. They listen to you and seem to know exactly what you need. I come out of there feeling absolutely great. I have used many of their services and have not been disappointed for one second. Fabulous massage therapists have you feeling so relaxed, the mani/pedis are a lot of fun. The hair services are plentiful and the professional women that work there are top notch. I would have no problem referring anyone to Hair Company & Spa.

I love Hair Company and have gone to Annie Mitchell for a couple years now. She is the best!!! She always knows just what my hair needs to keep it up to date and healthy looking. I highly recommend getting the Brazilian Blowout! She suggested it a few months ago and I LOVE IT! My hair looks and feels the healthiest it has in years. Ive been going to Hair Co Salon for almost three years and I would not change. The service you receive there is amazing. They care about how you look and the girls are so energetic. I was very dissapointed in the serivce...the employees have no idea what customer service means. They were very rude and snotty! One employee was on a personal call for an hour while our appoinments ran an hour behind, they did not apologize once. At one point they told us "thats not our problem"....what kind of customer serivce is that? Very unprofessional.

During my visit to HC&S I was treated very well. The gals at the front desk were kind and courteous, and my wait was short. My stylist listened to me explain what I wanted, and then confidently mixed up my color. My hair looked so much like the picture I showed her when she was finished- I was so pleased! Check them out, you wont regret it!
