I was looking for fair and honest contractor to give me a quote for a new roof on my house and garage as well as new gutters. I unfortunately felt that being a single woman that contractors were giving me the run around and not quoting me fair. I even had a contractor come to my house to give me an estimate and he brought his "brag book" with him to show me all of the great things people had to say about him. This particular contractor would not even write me a legitimate estimate without me agreeing to hire him!? I then called VDB Contractors at the advice of a friend. Mike, the owner, came to my house and provided me with a very reasonable quote for all the work I needed done. Even with all the rain we were having at the beginning of the summer, Mike and/or his staff kept in contact with me to get a time scheduled for the work to be completed. Once the date was set and Mikes crew showed up to do the job they knocked out the roof and garage in one day! Since it was a total tear off and replacement of both roofs I was skeptical that it would get completed but they pulled it off. The crew also made sure that my yard was cleaned up afterwards of all debris and nails. This was important to me as I have two dogs and was worried about them stepping on old nails from the tear off. All in all I would recommend VDB Contractors to anyone in need of roofing work done or gutters. They did an exceptional job at a great price. I will be using them again in the near future to have some much needed painting done to my house and garage.

I highly recommend VDB General Contracting for many reasons; to name a few, VBD provided customer service that went above and beyond! I recently closed on my property and needed all the ceilings and walls painted; VBD promptly scheduled an appointment and provided a fair and reasonable quote/scope of work. By providing a scope of work and thoroughly explaining what the Team was going to do, I truly began to experience the quality and dedication VDB has for every job. Additionally, VDB took extra care in accommodating my schedule to plan a time for the work to be done, which was very timely and exceeded my expectations on when the job could be completed. On top of all of this, the VDB Team was knowledgable, friendly and respectful. The paint job was completed per the arranged request; I am very satisfied and happy with the end results. To Whom It May Concern: I have had the pleasure of working with VDB Contractors for last four years as the President of a Condominium Association. We have had VDB replace a roof, paint a few buildings, repair water damage and do general maintenance for us. Mike and his staff work as if they are working on their own homes. The work they have done for us has been done with great care, attention to detail and a quality you would appreciate. As a board that takes care of the needs of a condo association you will look at number of contractors to bid a job for you. You try to find the best work for the best price; I feel that having hired VDB to do the work for us we received both quality work at a good price. I hired VDB Contractors to remodel my dysfunctional and sad Riverwest kitchen. I could not be more pleased with the experience. While my kitchen is still small and full of that unique Riverwest character, it is no longer sad nor dysfunctional. I had counters and cabinets replaced, shelving designed and built, a new sink and disposal installed, and (my favorite) a built-in dishwasher.The quality of the workmanship is exceptional. Mike and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. VDB was very responsive to my requests and helped me to design and build exactly the kitchen my little Riverwest bungalow needed to be complete. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a positive and professional contractor.

I would recommend VDB Contracting to anyone I know. Their staff is very courteous, trustworthy and respectful. They arrive on the job in uniform, which shows their professionalism. I felt very comfortable inviting them into my home. All the work I have had done has been done in a timely manner. Each time I talk with VDB I can tell that quality work is their most important focus. The only time I have needed to invite them back into my home is to do more work never to fix/redo anything. I have called them several times during the cold winter months for emergencies and they have arrived within the hour, ready to work. My Electric outlet went out to my refrigerator I called Mike and within the hour he was at my home repairing it. He is worth every penny.
