After loosing a loved one. What kind of funeral home is begging for the money the very first day? I can not believe how UN-PROFESSIONAL Crandalls were. As soon as they found out there was life insurance they were all happy and immedialty tried to call the insurance company to get there cut right away. Once finding out that are family needed the death certificate and to fill out some forms; Then conitnued to harass my family for there cut. Do they not understand that it takes a little bit to pull the money? You first need the death certificate which takes at least 2 weeks. then you need to full out forms and then wait for the insuracne to write the check. I understand they need there money, but a few years ago when my father passed. The funeral home never ever mentioned the money. They were the professional ones and understood our grief. In fact shortly after my fathers funeral I brought up the money and told them it will take a little bit to pull it from retirment. They understood that yes it takes time and they were not concerned. I just dont understand how Crandalls can be such Jerks!!! If I could give them worse than a poor rating i would

As a funeral director, I would like to comment on the negative review of a google user. We understand that families that have lost a loved one are going through a traumatic time in their lives. One of the hardest things in this business is asking for payment during these difficult times. We as funeral directors are there for you 24/7 365 days a year. We sometimes have to neglect our own families for yours. But remember, this is a business and businesses have to have revenue to pay for the individuals that are there for YOU 24/7 365. And not all people are honest so we have to sometimes call the insurance company so to protect the business. I have been dong this 25 years and I am happy when I can hopefully make this difficult time for you just a little bit easier.

I think they do a good job with the deceased. Their prices are way to high, and their demand form immediant payment is over the top. They need competition.
