My sweet mother-in-law passed away the week before Christmas. We waited until after the holidays to hold the services. The funeral director told us to meet them at the church and they would be there 8:15 to 8:30 AM to set up. The viewing started at 9:00 AM and they didnt show up until 9:00 AM. People were already there and waiting. It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. The hardest part, they did not record the funeral. We arranged for the recording, we paid for the recording. We have no idea if it didnt work or if they simply forgot(no one was able to tell us what happened.) We were devastated. I have a son that was unable to attend the funeral and he was already having a hard time, not being a part of it. The hardest part, when I called the manager he said he had heard there were problems(Im not sure why he didnt follow up or call us first) and I expressed our frustrations and he said he would look into it. That was 3 weeks ago and we havent heard back. Very disappointed with their services and their customer service. This is our 3rd funeral with Sundberg-Olpin, the other 2 funerals and services were great....we have no idea how this went so badly and why so many people dropped the ball.

I have to say I was disappointed in the care my mother received. My father was cared for by them so we went with them again. No personal touches or guidance. My mom looked pale, nail polish she had been wearing was chipped and left on. Just the little details were missed. They didnt proofread the obituary to ask us if there was other people to include and in our grieving state forgot siblings of my mom. The programs had to be redone twice because they didnt follow the written outline. At least this time, at the grave, they had a cover. For my dad it was raining and no protective cover was set up. Price was comparable. So you might want to shop around.

The beautiful people at Sunberg Olpin, are the most sensitive, kind, understanding, and caring individuals in your most vulnerable time of need, they really care about what YOU want. They treat your loved one like their own family and help to reassure you that they are in the best hands. They have helped us with a couple of family members, and I would definitely say, if your really wanting to know for sure that your family member will be respectfully taken care of, I would absolutely recommend Sunberg Olpin, they are wonderful! Curtis and April thank you from the bottom of my heart, you truely made our experience one to never forget!

Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary has helped our family out so much over the past few years. We have experienced many different losses within our family or close friends and they have taken such good care of us. They are helpful, respectful, and have a beautiful chapel where we have been able to have our viewings and some of our services. Kelly and Teri have become two of my favorite people and good friends over the past few years and I am grateful for the love and care they put into their business. They were very helpful when it came to navigating our way through the funeral process as well as the grieving process after losing a loved one.

My mother had moved to Utah from Florida and had a prepaid burial plan with another company. Although Sundberg-Olpin was out of network, they honored the commitment made. Curtis, the Funeral Director, and his wife and staff were beyond gracious and helpful in our time of need. My wife and I are truly grateful for that. Curtis exemplifies the very best a person can be when helping families in time of grief. His staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Sundberg-Olphpin Mortuary recently took care of my mom and we could not have been more pleased. They were so kind and gracious. I would not of wanted anyone else to take care of her. We as a family made a few mistakes with the program and they were so great to correct them and make it right. Terry was very knowledgable with questions we had. They guided us when we needed it but let us do what we wanted. The florist they used was awesome. Everyone who came through commented on how beautiful they were. They made mom look just like mom. We will be forever grateful.

I appreciate how caring and compassionate they were during my moms funeral. Soon after my mother passed away, my sister lost both her mother-in-law and father-in-law, and they were shown the same love and attention. Since then, they have helped with my own mother-in-laws funeral and others close to me. Their facilities are beautiful and everything ran so smoothly. I am also impressed by their efforts in the community and the help they have given others.

First blush was terrific! The Funeral Director, Curtis, and his wife April put my family at ease immediately. We felt that our confidence in them was well placed. The funeral home facility is excellent and beautifully arranged. There are places for privacy as well as areas for gatherings, all perfectly set-up and furnished very appropriately. We are very pleased with our decision to have our Mothers memorial services held there.

Sundberg-Olpin took care of all the details behind the scenes so we could concentrate on personal family matters. They handled the out of state transportation to the Rose Hills cemetery in California with minimal input from us. They were professional and made themselves available day or night to address our questions or concerns.
