I am most devastated with the service provided by this company. I was away from my dear mother during her last minutes since I live in another country. I have thought that of all people this service would be kind and considerate. Little did I know I was awfully mistaken. My mother was cremated without my knowledge regardless of the emails I sent to this business. No only that but she has been shipped like a package and not even the correct tracking number was given to me. My emails have been ignored. And I do not know when my mother’s remains will arrive. Once again regardless of the emails I sent asking about the process BEFORE any shipment was made. I am not sure with what kind of people I am dealing with but for sure are cold hearted ones. I will not give up on this matter of making it public the way you treated me mother and I. I will write to all media resources that there is available because this was outrageous. We have been treated like nothing.

Walker Sanderson Funeral Home is an extremely professional, personable, reliable, understanding organization that understands the pressures of losing a loved one. They know how to lighten your load while helping you prepare to honor the loss of a loved one. They provide outstanding services; they help you pick out the right casket, respond in a timely manner, help prepare/ get the obituary placed in the correct newspapers as well as posting it on their website, they help make a memory dvd, laminate copies of the obituary, create outstanding programs...etc. They treat you like you are family & they are always there when you need them! I would not recommend even trying/looking into any other funeral home as we have been disappointed with past experiences. I will always go through Walker Sanderson because of the amazing, smooth running services that they provide as well as the friendships you will create. They truly go above & beyond!

I have nothing but good things to say about Walker Sanderson Funeral Home. Throughout the whole process they were compassionate and sympathetic. They were very helpful when planning my fathers funeral and waited patiently when we were very late (due to a wrong turn) in Idaho for the burial. I had some issues with getting the payment from the life insurance company. It was a huge hassle, but they waited patiently and never demanded payment, as I had no other way to pay for the funeral. They kept in email, phone and mail contact with me and worked with me to fax papers to the insurance company that they kept requiring. This was an extremely difficult time in my life, but this funeral home helped me a great deal. At all times, they were professional, understanding, and compassionate. Highly Recommend! Shopping for a mortuary is always a terrible thing to do, but Walker Sanderson was professional, straight forward, and accommodating to my many unique requests. My wife and I lost our son shortly after his birth and nothing could have prepared me for giving my son over to a mortuary. With that said, the individual sent to pick up our son was professional, respectful, and very empathetic. On top of everything I had many last minute requests for the grave side service. The representatives from Walker Sanderson worked with the cemetery to deliver on all of my requests. At the end of the day you cannot go wrong with choosing Walker Sanderson to help you during this difficult time.

From the respectful way they had of picking up my mother when she passed, to the arrangements for her funeral, to the actual viewing and funeral itself was of the upmost quality and respectfulness. Phil and the staff at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home provided us with outstanding service and attentive care. Here is some of the things they did for us: they ordered the right color of coffin, wrote the obituary and placed it in all papers, prepared the body and made it look amazing after two weeks, put together a beautiful program layout, organized the 21 gun salute because my dad was a veteran. They payed attention to every little detail right down to easels for holding pictures. If you want a smooth experience, I highly recommend Walker Sanderson.

The 800 North location was actually my Grandparents home and was built by my Great Grandfather, he built it after the great depression. I have fond memories of the home growing up as a little kid. It is interesting how everything in a persons life come full circle as my Grandmothers and my Grandpas viewing was held there. Though I miss the home and wish it was still in the family, I appreciate the fact that the home is in good hands and was well preserved and used for a noble purpose.
