I told the maids I would give them 5 stars, but after the embarrassment of the situation and how they acted, as well as their management this 5 stars is hard. Our apartment hadnt been lived in for several weeks. Just my husband was going in and trying to pack things. Lets just say it was a mess when I showed up to let the maids in. I was embarrassed by the mess, and one of the ladies didnt do anything to hide her frustrations with the mess. While I am leaving to head back to our new home I get a call from Tracey, telling me that she received pictures of the apartment from the maids and she was just letting me know it will be difficult to clean and blah blah blah. Basically, I felt like I was getting in trouble. She said the manager would go over and look because of the "condition" of the apartment. They made me very uncomfortable and very upset. I was so embarrassed that when I came to view the apartment I was just so ready to get them paid and out of there. Then the maid even asked if I wanted some of the stuff she found in the cabinets in the kitchen.... which they threw away most of the things I wanted, EVEN THE COFFEE MAKER! I paid them $245 for 3 hours! They still didnt know how to hide their feelings and be professional. They also havent even cashed my check yet and the service took place 5 days ago. My husband called me and told me the maids didnt clean the wall above the stove, they didnt wipe down the front of the cabinets they didnt wipe down inside the cabinets. He was not satisfied. Since this was his money, his opinion is all that matters. We will NOT be using this service again. I was so humiliated by their attitude and how they handled things.

I hired Two Maids & A Mop to do a Move-In/Out clean of our newly renovated home. I would graciously give their cleaning a 7 out of 10. Most of their work was done well: the floors, bathrooms, kitchen, and all appliances looked fantastic! However, there are four major issues that caused me to rate them much lower than what I hoped I would have to: 1) They did not dust/clean inside any of the closets. My understanding was that this clean was supposed to render the house move-in ready, and I am going to have to clean these closets and dust (a lot of sanding dust!) the shelves before I can even begin to put my clothes on them. 2) They missed dusting two entire cabinets (which dont even have doors). I ran my finger across them and yellow sawdust was caked on my finger. They obviously just missed them. 3) In my nursery there was a baseboard that still had sanding dust on it. This was small, but still, it is something I will have to do on my own when I thought I wouldnt have to. 4) I also found more sanding dust on the windows. Although this clean was overall done well, there were these dusty issues that really disappointed me. I didnt expect to pay that much money and still have to do a lot of my own dusting. I am pregnant and want to avoid having to clean up so much paint/sanding dust, the biggest reason we hired the maids in the first place. I thought I was going to use this service for a bi-monthly cleaning, but after this disappointment, I am not so sure. Sad.

The 1-star rating is for the main office customer service, not the ladies who perform the cleaning service. I will start by saying that the ladies that come out to clean are AMAZING and deserve any credit for the success of this company. However, they need to find a new company to work for because they will be tarnished by the customer service of the people answering the phones (assuming these are two different groups of people). I wasnt able to keep an appointment due to an out of town trip and called to cancel the day before. I left a message telling them to call me the next week and make an appointment. Instead, they called the evening before to say they were showing up the next day at 8:30 in the morning when we were not available. And this was only done over a message, not confirmed in person. So the next day when we were not available, they charged me $35 for not cancelling an appointment that I never confirmed in the first place. So instead of listening to me and working with me to reschedule, the lady in the office basically called me a liar and told me I did confirm in the voicemail from the previous week, which I did not. She then made the brilliant decision to keep the $35 cancellation fee and allow me to cancel all future appointments. I had at least 3-4 scheduled cleanings in the coming months, totaling close to $600 for the company and tips for the cleaning ladies. $35 > $600 + satisfied customer + referral business??? I think not...

Overall, I was very pleased with the service I received!! I called very last minute (the day before I was hoping to have my house cleaned) and Tracy was great about getting me the one opening available (before a holiday weekend, at that)! I paid for the premium cleaning, and most everything was done as promised. When I got home, the first thing I noticed was how nice it smelled! The kitchen looked fantastic, the bedrooms were spotless, and bathrooms have probably not been that clean since we moved in! A few areas were overlooked in dusting, but nothing that I couldnt go back in less than 5 minutes and take care of. We have hardwoods and two dogs, and overall, you couldnt tell we have a problem keeping the floors clean (floors being clean are the most important thing to me in our house). Two things that left me a little disappointed: our den with an area rug was not vacuumed, nor were the hardwoods mopped in the den. This seems to be the only room that was overlooked in those areas. Also, with the premium service, the baseboards and windowsills are supposed to be cleaned, and they were not in any room. Im hoping it was due to the fact I was squeezed in last minute and the next visit, it will all be taken care of! Thank you, Two Maids and A Mop!

I have been fairly pleased with Two Maids and a Mop, although during the first two cleanings they forgot to clean the ceiling fans or dust the headboard of our bed. I brought it to the attention of the office manager after the first cleaning and she assured me the next time they would definitely include that in their cleanings. Well the 2nd time around, still dust all over the ceiling fan and headboard...I again brought it to her attention, and she offered to send someone out to do it as it was supposed to be done everytime. I refused the offer since the 3rd cleaning was supposed to be a deep cleaning and if they didnt clean it this time, then I was going to be done...but they came through. The office manager even showed up to point out a few little things here and there to the cleaners to help assure my house was spotless. I have to say, I have had a cleaner house than it was after the deep clean, but it was definitely worth what I paid for. Customer Service is fantastic and the newsletter is very informative and gives tons of great cleaning hints and special offers for their customers. I am enjoying having the house cleaned once a month...they have never been tardy the 3 cleanings I have had since using them.
