La Petite Academy holds their teachers and students to a higher standard than most other child care facilities. Both of my children benefit from the extra curricular activities provided by La Petite such as: Playball (which teaches hand eye coordination, motor skills, and team work), Soccer Shots, Piano classes, and the many field trips (Birmingham Zoo, Sci Quest, Skating Rink, splash pad) for school age children. My youngest daughter started the pre-kindergarten program this year and enjoys herself immensely while learning letters, numbers, and counting. The staff is professional and caring with the children. The facilities are secure and require a pass-code for entry. The staff communicates well by keeping me informed of my childrens progress and behavior. If there are any issues I am able to work closely with the staff to reach a resolution that benefits the children and helps them to grow. I would most definitely recommend this child care facility.

I left my daughter there for the free trial day and they called me within 15 minutes and refused to care for my child. I did the whole tour before hand and they promised potty training and that they had and "adjustment period" for children who were new to daycare. This was my first experience with a daycare and they called me weeks later asking if I wanted to enroll my child. Seriously? I told them what happened and they acted all shocked but it was an extremely hurtful experience. They promised so much on the tour but their facility was filthy and a lot of the children where laying around and crying when I went in there. There are better daycares available.

La Petite in Decatur is the best!! I love the fact that you have to have a code just to get in the door! It makes me feel like my kids are completely safe there. When you walk in the building, you are greeted by smiles and friendly faces. All of the teachers at the school are so great. They are very well trained for what they do, they are very kind and loving to the children, and they are teach the kids just what they need to know. My daughter just started Kindergarten this year and her teacher contacted me telling me how wonderful she is doing...I know that this is due to the amazing educational program that La Petite has to offer.

Our daughters love it at La Petite Academy in Decatur. They feel safe and loved and are learning lots. We feel good about the time they spend there, the friends they make and the affection they have for all the teachers. We appreciate the reinforcement of our interests for our girls. And we are grateful they receive the attention, affection and encouragement we can give them while we are working.

La Petite Academy in Decatur has a very nurturing and caring staff. They truly care about the children and go above and beyond for them in creating a safe and enriching environment. My girls love going to "baby school" and they are learning so much. I feel at ease returning to work knowing my girls are in good hands. I am so greatful for the staff of La Petite in Decatur.

This is the best place in Decatur, Alabama, for children. The facilities are very clean and inviting to children. The staff treats every child like they are their own. They implement an amazing curriculum that children truly learn from. My family and I are proud to be a part of the "La Petite Family."
