My review is long overdue and no Growing Kids did not ask me to write this review in exchange for anything. I moved to this area 8 yrs ago from Illinois & I must say that I did not have the expectation that Id ever find a place like this in Porter County. Growing Kids on Campbell Street far exceeded my expectations of how a daycare should operate, care children and teach. I am no stranger to daycare centers and I could not have enrolled my child at a better place. The entire staff is amazing with the children. My sons teachers and director really went above and beyond to help us through a difficult time when deciding to pull our preschooler out of public special education instruction. Pulling him out public education was a must for his safety and as parents we could not have landed anywhere better. I know my child is at a safe place and in good hands here at Growing Kids. They really are above and beyond!

Ms. Sylvia, my Sons preschool teacher, has had such a positive impact on our family in the short 10 months we have been privileged to know her. I think it is safe to say she is a no frills, brass tacks kind of educator. However, that same direct attitude is well balanced by a gentle hand, open heart, and love of her craft. She often goes beyond the call of duty, caring for students as if they are her own. She is a wonderful role model for my son.

When I became pregnant with our second child, I wasnt sure how my son would react. Growing Kids teachers helped him transition through the confusing time. It was nice to know that he was made a priority there even if at home the baby made him less of a priority. He has taken on the big brother role phenomenally. The center helped him realize he is important and that we do care about him even with our new addition.

We went to the summer camp program for the first time this year. I was so impressed by the high level of preparation and knowledge each staff had. They had great communication with the parents about what was going on over the summer and at the end of the summer the kids came home with a journal about what they had done it was the icing on the cake to a great summer.

My son absolutely loves it at Growing kids. He has been learning so much and he loves to share it with us. The staff are really great and make sure they know the children really well to make all the children feel comfortable. It is a great place and I am so happy with my childs care at Growing Kids.

We were very happy with the Summer Camp that our son participated in. They went on field trips often and each provided a different and exciting learning experience. All of the trips were based around a curriculum, so they were educational and fun.
