My son is 2 years old, he went to DLDS for a little less than 3 months - I saw so many changes in him throughout the time he went there and just chalked it up to him changing and possibly a "stage" I quickly realized that was not the case these changes I saw in him were due to how he was being treated. My son has been out of DLDS now for several months and is back to normal. I urge anyone thinking of putting their child in DLDS think twice. I truly thought the owner Wendy and staff were all that they seemed and it breaks my heart to say they are NOT!~ Do not trust these people with your children! Update- I did a review on DLDSs Facebook page and they removed the ability to review or to have reviews seen!

When my daughters preschool closed, we first heard about Discovery Lane Day School from various friends. We toured the school and instantly fell in love with the family-like feeling and the classroom sizes. All of the teachers and staff are very warm and friendly. If you are looking for a preschool where your child will look forward to going everyday and each day there is something new and exciting going on, then this is your school. The developmentally-appropriate academics as well as the themes and programming in this school are awesome! After being here for only one year prior to kindergarten, I have no doubt that my still 4 year old daughter (summer birthday) will be prepared for kindergarten!

My 5 year old son is currently in Pre-K, and has been attending the past two years. He loves Discovery Lane and each teacher he has had has been wonderful. I know he will be ready for kindergarten, but I am also happy that they did not do a full kindergarten curriculum in Pre-K! They have a wonderful balance between work and play, where I know he is always thrilled to go in but he is also being prepared for what kindergarten brings. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and I could not be happier with our experience here. My almost 3 year old daughter will be starting here in the fall as well and I am so happy she will be going somewhere I know we will both love!

Our daughter attends the pre-K program at DLDS, and she loves it. It is always smiles on the way in and smiles on the way out. I attribute this to the caring staff and fun activities she encounters every day she attends. The director of the school is readily available and keeps parents informed about any school events well in advance. I have helped in my daughters classroom on several occasions and have been impressed with the interactions between staff and students, as well as between students. Good behavior and academic skills are taught in the context of a fun learning environment-exactly what children at this age need!

My child has gone here for 3 years now and I couldnt be happier with this school. When he started here he was so shy and suffered from separation anxiety. All the teachers and staff here were so friendly and patient with him and even helped ease my nerves. Over time he warmed up and now he is so comfortable there he loves to go to school, loves his teachers, and has made many friends. I feel really good about leaving him there as I know he is very well cared for and he is very prepared to start kindergarten in the fall. They make the cutest art projects here and make learning fun for the kids.

My son only recently started at Discovery Lane Day School, but the experience, so far, has been wonderful. Everyone at the school was so welcoming to our family when we visited. We knew the transition for our son would be difficult in the beginning being that he was never in school before so this was entirely new to him. Everyone at Discovery Lane was so comforting to him and to me, as well. He is now a more confident child when going to school and comes home happy and tells me all about his day. We look forward to spending these next few years at Discovery Lane Day School.

Our first experience here was a personal guided tour, showing us the rooms, playground, etc. It was a very good first impression. After almost a year attendance, our son shows exponential growth every week. The teachers and staff are super friendly and approachable. They have all the details laid out in advance, from the moment you drop off, to the time you pick up. They also offer different days for attendance. We plan to move from two days a week to at least three with our son, as well as send our daughter there when she is old enough.

My daughter is 2 years old and started Discovery Lane Day School January 2015. She has been to several child care facilities and done pretty well but it wasnt until I put her in Discovery Lane that she started to actually learn new things and she absolutely loves it!! I love that all the teachers and staff are friendly, helpful, and actually educate my child. If you are looking for a child care facility that actually educates and helps your child progress towards kindergarten, then I highly recommend DLDS!! Holly and Jason Sperker

We love Discovery Lane. My oldest child attended for two years before moving on to kindergarten. My youngest is in his fourth and final year. They have loved all their teachers, and I have always felt like I was leaving them in safe hands. The school offers a good blend of play time and art projects with preparation for kindergarten. The 9 to 3 hours were just what I was looking for, and the price is more affordable than many options in Spring Hill. I would highly recommend Discovery Lane.

My children have grown leaps and bounds since starting DLDS. They love going to school and are always eager to share what they have learned. The staff is wonderful and we could not be happier as parents. They have given our eldest the tools and education that was needed to start Kindergarten and helped advance our younger ones in day to day life. Discover Lane is the first school of any sort my son has ever attended and this school has set the bar so high for any school he attends in the future. Everyone is so friendly and so sweet to us both. All of the teachers do such an amazing job with the kids. My son has learned so much since he started there and I can see such a positive difference in him all around. I am so thankful to Discovery Lane for everything they have done!

This was our first year at DLDS. We were new to the area and started a month late. My daughter and I toured the facility and she immediately wanted to attend their pre K class. Im glad we did. The whole staff was warm and welcoming. We will be forever grateful for the whole staff especially her teachers Mrs. Wendy and Mrs. Carmen. We will miss everyone next year when we start kindergarten but know she will be well prepared!!!
