Recently, I took my vehicle to Bay Springs Auto Repair to figure why my brakes were squealing. Since I hadnt scheduled an appointment I expected a wait time, but Mr. Hughes took a look at my vehicle without delay. Many of the car repair shops I have had to deal with in the past do not offer any feedback or explanation after diagnosis, but Mr. Hughes thoroughly explained the brake problem without hesitation. The problem with my brakes was minor and he repaired it in a timely manner and with a reasonable price. I have previously had mechanics that would have taken advantage of this situation offering me repairs that were not needed. Mr. Hughes did not do this. He told me what exactly needed to be repaired and then he physically pointed out the area of issue. I appreciated his explanation and patience with my questions. Overall, the quality or Bay Springs Auto Repair was impeccable and extremely fair. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a mechanic who is trustworthy and honest. I will continue to use his services as long as he continues to offer them!

I took my car there when i had my first break down. They were so friendly they even educated me on what parts were broken. They ran tests which i figured would take days but they had my car up and running with new parts within about 2 hours. they even offered me drinks out of their awesome back in the day coke a cola cooler =) it was really awesome they were awesome and they are such kind hearted people. They even took in 4 or 5 stray dogs which are the most lovable animals i have seen being strays. Such warm friendly people. I refer all my friends here and they have even gone to the extent of picking my friend up from her house and taking her there with her car. what great people!

I had major problems with my minivan. I brought it to Bay Springs Auto to figure out what was wrong with it. Mr. Hughes.the owner found problems that needed immediate attention and called me to let me know what I wanted to do. My van needed a water pump and my radiator needed cleaning . I also got a tune up. My van has never ran so well since. I didnt feel intimidated , instead I was educated about what my options were. The labor was fair and well done. I highly recommend this business for anyone who needs their vehicle fixed right, and in a timely manner. Nice people!!!

I highly recommend Bay Springs Auto Repair. The service, workmanship, and communication were all excellent. Our car needed an immediate clutch replacement in the middle of a long trip and I was so happy to find this place. Mr. Hughes, the mechanic, was very knowledgeable, fair, and professional. He did such great work that my car ran better than when I first got it. The timeline of the repair was faster than expected and I wish I could go to him anytime my car needed work. This is the place youve always hoped to find.

Bay Springs Auto Repair is the only place I will ever take my vehicle. Mr. Hughes is knowledgeble and honest. His prices are fair. If he tells you that something must be repaired or that it can wait you can depend on it. While the shop is off the beaten path the expertise is state of the art and the integrity is without comparison. It is well worth the drive or the tow to do business with someone who is trustworthy and personable. I give Bay Springs Auto Repair my highest endorsement.

Soo nice and so helpful!! Having just moved to Dothan, we were concerned about finding an honest, reliable and affordable solution for an issue that came up with one of our cars. After much searching we discovered Dons place and are so glad that we went with our gut instincts! They repaired our car quickly and efficiently and both Don and his wife (Jill, who runs the office) are just plain nice people. Such a relief to have found a trustworthy mechanic!

Great people. I took my vehicle in to worked on before selling it. I was given a very competitive quote and was called when additional problems were found. The cost to fix these issues was very reasonable. When I went to pick my vehicle up I was shown the parts that were removed and the parts used to replace them. After several problematic experiences with auto mechanics I believe I can finally report that Ive found a mechanic I can trust.
