Liars!!! They lead you on and LIE to you!!! Have you driving an hour and a half TWICE to get there and find out everything you were told was a LIE. They say whatever they can to get you in the door. We applied, came in person, and couldnt work out a deal. In the days after, the employee texted us offering a deal. We asked for proof, who approved us and for their contact number. His "proof" was a picture of a computer screen and he told us who approved us, but told us we couldnt have their contact info (fishy much) BUT on his picture "proof" was the approval number! So we called and were told we were approved with $0 down. The dealership told us $750 down. Maybe thats money talk with the complication of other things, and we had the down payment either way. We asked, repeated, confirmed **multiple times** the amount per month that was *necessary* and that we *were* trading in our vehicle. We get there and are told its no trade in and $70+ more than our max amount per month. We CONFIRMED our requirements MULTIPLE TIMES before making this trip. The manager was useless to us, terrible!!! He said his salesman is "just a salesman" and his job is to relay what hes told and that he didnt "intentionally" lie to us, its just that he didnt know. Wait... he didnt know we wanted to do a trade in? He didnt know we had a max amount per month? Manager says he didnt know the approval was without a trade in. He doesnt know how to do his job, he doesnt know the ins and outs of the process. The manager said yes he does, he contacted us with a bank approval that works for us. I said NO... He contacted us with a bank approval that WORKS FOR YOU!! OUR requirements were ignored. He lied to us and told us we were accommodated. I should have listened to the ones who told us "all" University places are like this and stayed home!!! Not to mention we told him at the first visit that we had a pre-approval letter and didnt want our credit ran multiple times, and what do you know 6 inquiries hit our report!!! The sad thing? The one who pre-approved us is the one who DID approve us! The 5 other hits without our permission damaged our credit report for NOTHING without our permission!!! Josh Burks is the salesman and Randy Foster is his supervisor!

Regret going thru these people. When first financing the vehicle it took multiple tries for multiple people to get their credit to approve. After approved and dumped out a large amount for down deposit, they wanted to start b***s*****g around with me and my cosigner trying to say my cosigner needs to bring more paper work for proof, so he did. And guess what. I get a call three days later needing another check stub bc they had lost his paperwork..... So now they are trying to take my car and tell me Ill lose my vehicle and down deposit. I got the car 2 months ago and been having so many problems with this dealership. Thinking about telling them they can have the car back and I want my down deposit back bc I was told for how they been doing me and my cosigner I am eligible for receiving my refund for my down payment. Any suggestions?

Worst car buying experience ever!!! They tell you your approved take your down payment just to call u a month later telling you that you have to bring the car back that you arent approved and that they cant give you any of your down payment back. Then when you ask to speak to the manager he comes back in saying they can give you a portion of it back. Im not the only one they are doing this to. Ive heard several experiences like mine with this same dealership since this happened. They know what theyre doing and its a scam. Everyone I talk to even the legal advisors suggest calling the better business bureau. It wasnt my mistake I should be entitled to my down payment back since it was to go towards a car for me to buy. Now Im stuck with no money, no car, all because of theyre mistake

This is the worse dealership I have ever experienced. Salesman Jerry Jones Jr lied to me about fixing my truck. And the general manager had someone call me house and tell my wife they no longer wanted or needed our business. I would like the owner of university Chevrolet to contact me about all the problems I have had with Jerry Jones and Mark lowe the General Manager. I will never do business with University Chevrolet as long as they are employed with university Chevrolet. I Posted this on University Chevrolet Web Site. Was Trying to get the Owner to Contact me but as of 2/2/16 still have not received a call from the owner. I Guess he does not need my business.

I will never go to University in Muscle Shoals again. I traded in a car there & I had my new car for 3 weeks and then they called and said they made a mistake on my paperwork and that I needed to come in and sign new paperwork and that my car payment would go up. I told them I wasnt signing any new paperwork & they told me I could sign new paperwork, I could return the car, or they would come get it. I took the car back the next morning & got the car I traded in back. Went to Bentley in Florence the same day & got the same car for a WAY better deal. I would not recommend going to University! And whoever Jake is that works there is VERY rude.

They told my wife her Enclave would be under $700 per month and then changed it to $925 in the middle of the deal. When I ask why the manager said the rebate amount had changed and walked away from us without saying anything else. When I left I told him I would let him know and he didnt look at me or say bye or nothing. I didnt know the rebate would change in the middle of the day in the course of about 1 hour. We went to Ray Miller Buick and guess what, the rebate had NOT changed. I found out later University gets paid to run your credit whether you buy or not. GO SEE DAVID SHIREY AT RAY MILLER BUICK AND TELL HIM LYNN BREWER SENT YOU.

I read many mixed reviews about University Chevrolet and was concerned about visiting this dealership. However my experience was one of the best I have ever had. If you want a sales representative who listens and will go the extra mile to make sure your happy then see Mr. Cargile. He was happy to listen to what I was looking for and not just throw me into something just to make a sale like most places I have bought from before. I will definitely recommend my family and friends to Mr. Cargile at University Chevrolet in the future.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The service department has the worst customer support. You can call over there a million times to check on your vehicle and get no answer nor update. All you will get is the run around. I will never buy a car from that location because I would hate to use the service department over there. It is sad when a customer spends thousands of dollars over there and cant be treated as a valued customer. I would never recommend University Chevy to anyone.
